I had been wanting to go for breakfast at this establishment since it opened. I finally decided to go on a Sunday at 10:00am. I walk in and am asked if I want to sit at the counter, since its only me. So Im told to go & sit at any chair. I chose a seat in the middle of the counter and a few seconds later Im told to move because theres a couple who just asked to sit at the counter as well. So I begrudgingly move to the far end. The couple that had just gotten there hadnt even completely sat down when a older medium length hair blond right away asked them for their drink and places their order. I was there first and no-one acknowledged me. Finally, minutes later, Im asked if I want water, not if i would like something to drink. I say,"no thanks,Ill take coffee." The couple that sat down after I was already are served their breakfast and I havent even been asked if Im ready to order. Im sitting there uncomfortable and feel humiliated at the fact that not only wad I blatantly ignored by the blond waitress, but it was as if my presence didnt matter. At that point, offended and terribly saddened because I was really hoping for a pleasant experience, I get up and head to the cashier. Theres an older man there, and I tell him I just had coffee and would like to pay. He asked if everything was okay. At that point Im trying not to break down and cry from anger and humiliation, so I tell him I had been waiting to place my order and the people sitting next to me were already eating and I hadnt even ordered, although I was there first. The man/cashier asks me who was my server. Really? Who knows? All I wanted was to pay and leave. So after him trying to convince me to stay and eat, I finally pay for my coffee and leave. WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL CUSTOMERS, IF YOU DONT RECEIVE PROPER SERVICE, YOUR MONEY IS BETTER SPENT ELSEWHERE. I wanted to take family there, but Im glad I went on my own. Will not be returning and will definitely dine at places where Im acknowledged and treated better.

Good food. I just dont like it when the employees dont accept responsibility for making a mistake. I was taught in good business, the customer is always right. My omlette had a mushroom in it and no cheese hardly. The server took my food back to cook for them to examine instead of cooking it again. Oh they took the mushroom off but said there was no mushroom in the dish. Im allergic to mushrooms so I error on the side of caution. If I told them this you would assume they would prepare it again or at least offer. Well so much for that. Ill end on a positive note, the food, especially the pancakes are good.

A great independent business in Burbank. The staff is very friendly, they have a very diverse selection of foods, being of North, Central American and European particularly. Food is definitely delicious and at quite a decent price. I definitely recommend this place if you are going out with family in casual wear or if you are an outsider traveling and happen to stop by for some good healthy food. One of the finer independent breakfast diners around the south chicagoland.

This is the only breakfast place I enjoy going to. The waitresses are EXTREMELY friendly, especially Helen and Michelle. The cafe is in a small plaza and I figured it would have bad food. One day I decided to check it out and I fell in love with the food, their fries are the best! I come here often, and I am so happy for finally trying this place out. The prices are reasonable as well.

My family celebrated my moms 85th birthday at Maple N Jams. We were looking for a nice breakfast restaurant near her and we found a goldmine. The food is a breakfast delicacy and the service was as comfortable as home. We enjoyed it - everyone celebrated with us and my mom was so happy. Thanks Maple N Jams, youre our new breakfast hangout.

I love this place so much. The skirt steak is so flavorful, marinated to perfection. Do not make a trip here without getting the red velvet pancakes. On the next trip try the Banana walnut French toast. The lunch options are pretty solid as well, but there is no other breakfast place in the area that is this good. Not even Stacked.

Cozy little breakfast spot with good food, and very friendly service. I had the apple pecan stuffed French toast with honey cream cheese, and it was pretty good. Definitely better than similar fare from IHOP. My wife had the crepes, but she thought they were awful, so she ordered a waffle instead, which was much better.

The food and service was fantastic! My waitress Michelle was so polite and made sure I was ok the whole time I was there! They have decent prices! I totally recommend this place! And the food come quick! No long wait either! This was my first time there and Im already planning on going back

Came in the other day and had the Avocado Bacon Cheddar Burger w/ a side of cream of spinach soup, cole slaw and fries. Burger was cooked just right and everything was fantastic. Our server Michelle was very friendly and helpful! Thanks again for the great lunch and see you again soon!

Oh hum omelet made very bland and boring, what was supposed to be ham off the bone was tiny cubes of ham, jalapenos were totally mild and boring. Good thing I asked if salsa was homemade or out of a jar! She was honest and told me out of a jar, told her no thanks.

Innovative breakfast options. BEST BEST pork sausage I have ever had in or out. I just go there sometimes to pick up a 2 go order of it. Never had the lunch but it looks yummy. Coziness is great if its not a Sun morning, then cozy becomes cramped.

Really liked the food and the waitress was also very nice/fun and genuine which was great as I am so sick of the "one size fits all" type of interactions between waitresses and customers. Coffee was good, food was great. I will be back this weekend!

This brunch place is simply amazing! The staff is very friendly. The service is on point. They keep the coffee flowing if you are a coffee drinker. The food come out super fast. And the food is delicious too. Id definitely recommend coming here.

I have been here several times for the most part its a great place to eat but sometimes it seems a bit understaffed we almost ate our entire meal by the time we got some napkins cant complain about the price or the food definitely worth it!

Ive been here before when it was a lot busier and service was a whole lot better than what I received today. Maybe it was just a bad day for the waitress but I sat unattended for almost 12-15 minutes, meanwhile other people were helped.
