Im trying to understand why this Publix, approximately 1.4 miles from my home, does not have the same quality and variety of produce, meat, and products as the Publix I drive miles away to shop at in Tucker, off of Hugh Howell; 124 in Centerville; 124 in Snellville; Conyers (near my work); or in Decatur (near my other Emory Univ.office). There is such a marked difference in these stores compared to the one in my neighborhood that I sometimes think my store is not part of the same chain. The cashiers and customer service personnel are great! The manager is about as unfriendly as they come. I spoke with the district manager this summer about this store and my inability to find things I needed that I could find in any other Publix, and was told that changes were coming to the store. So far, I havent seen any. So sorry you closed the one on Killian Hill. It was my favorite, and yes, I drove past my neighborhood Publix to drive 9 miles to Killian Hill. Im still driving past my neighborhood Publix. I pray you guys get it right. What I spend in gas driving to a better quality Publix, I could be spending in your store. Get it right!

I have been going to this Publix since I moved to Georgia, over 15 years ago and I have never had a problem there, which is remarkable. They are courteous. They dont allow their employees to work with their pants down their asses like Walmart does. When they ring up a wrong price, you get it free. With Walmart, you get an attitude because they have to actually work to go check the price and when theyre wrong, no apologies. Since Walmart decided to stop price matching the BOGO, I barely go there anymore because Publixs BOGO sales make them lower than Walmart. I just had an issue where their cash register when down after I swiped my card and they thought it didnt take so I swiped again. Turns out I was charged twice. As soon as I brought it to their attention, not only was I credited back, but I received a $20 gift card for my problems. Never get that from Walmart. I will never stop shopping at this Publix. They are courteous, professional, and go out of their way to treat their customers with respect.

I just left the store all the associates in the store was friendly but the cashier Emma was the rudest I looked her in the eyes & smiled and even spoke to her she was rude looked down the whole time. Handed me a balled up money missed my hand & literally threw the receipt at me. I was shocked. I am a HUGE Publix fan. I can go to any one of there stores in Atlanta and when I travel and get excellent service, and I dont mind paying extra. Because they have quality products & friendly, knowledgeable associates. I walked through the ailes today and several associates greeted me & smiled but not Emma. She is on the front line at their store & maybe she needs to be in the back. I have been to worse places and still they did not throw the receipt to where I had to reach behind something to fish it out I am appalled. I will not be returning to this store.

I order Publix online frequently. I moved in this area in March and used online sub ordering 3 times, each time I had to wait 30 min over my estimated time. This is the only Publix I ever had an issue with ever.Guess I will ride a few more minutes to the next location off Centerville, better service.

The worst service Ive had yet. I had to repeat what I wanted on my sub several times and she still put the wrong stuff on!!! I just settled for and ultimate boars head sub that it didnt want just to get the hell out of there. Then the cashier was rude! WHF!!! NEVER SEE ME IN THIS STORE AGAIN!!!!

cant say the prices are always cheaper than some of their competitors but what i enjoy most about Publix are the made to order subs, better than Subway in my opinion. Also the bakery counter the pastries and cakes are some of the best in comparison to other grocery store chains.
