We really want to like this place. God knows there are so few decent restaurants in Snellville, Georgia. We eat upscale often and have visited Bonefish about once every six months. Our home is only two miles away. Friday 6:00 PM, not packed. Staff was friendly, enthusiastic even, a lot of smiles and energy at the door. The manager, Vince Frankowski, greeted us personally. Our waiter Mike was a decent guy, didnt know the menu as well as he should have. He had to ask someone about a couple questions. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp, we know thats always good. My wife ordered a watermelon salad and Shrimp Pad Thai one of their featured summer bowl dishes. I ordered Chilean Sea Bass, roasted corn, and Broccoli. We had cocktails. First of all my wifes salad came out before the appetizer. Amateur mistake, we were still drinking first cocktail. Vince came by the table and sent the salad back and the shrimp came. Bang Bang Shrimp, great but the portion was smaller than I remembered, a lot of lettuce underneath. Then the salad came back with meal. The salad was bitter greens with watermelon but very-very little of the cheesy dressing, no flavor. Mike brought us a vinaigrette to add to it. Wife still didnt eat it. Chilean Sea Bass was very good, better be at that price. BUT the broccoli was minuscule almost invisibly small. NOT just a small serving BUT the individual broccolis were little midget broccoli, very small broccoli. Never seen anything quite to describe it. Regardless, the broccoli was a small portion and it was stunted growth broccoli. Corn on the Cob was good. Then, wife sitting there making faces at her Shrimp Pad Thai. I had some and did not blame her. She already had a bad salad dish NOW the Shrimp were like little miniature popcorn salad shrimp not premium by any means. The noodles were filling and the sauce was inadequate. Wife ordered a wine, I ordered another cocktail. This was NOT a $110.00 meal. I tipped the waiter 20% because thats how we roll. Hes got to make a living BUT we left remembering why we only come back every six months to see if theyve improved. They never have. What really frosts me is that with so little effort and quality adjustment, this place could be really good. I hope they dont call us or ty to give us anything because of this review. Were not coming back if it was free.

Not a good experience. First, we have been to other locations here, Florida and in Maryland and have always enjoyed Bonefish and have received excellent service in the past. This time our waitress was not very friendly, she was very short with us and a little condescending. At first I blew it off, but it continued. We waited a little, which we were OK with since it was Fri night without a reservation, but we noticed everyone around us being served bread immediately and we had to ask her. Wouldve been better not to have my drink on an empty stomach. The bread didnt come out until the appetizer was ready. Bang bang shrimp was good, but the crab cakes were undercooked and falling apart. I ordered steak and was not offered steak sauce and my food was already cold by the time she came back to check on us. The "sautéed" spinach tasted like it was heated in the microwave. My wife ordered pecan and parmesan crusted rainbow trout and it tasted very fishy and it had a lot of bones. We wont be coming back to this location. Very disappointed.

Coming from someone with years of experience in the restaurant industry, on my very first visit to Bonefish I encountered extremely lackluster service. The food was good, and maybe we caught the server on a bad night. We were visited by 2 separate floor managers at different times (without our request - just because it was common knowledge in the back that stuff had hit the fan) who never offered an apology, only "just wanted to check on everything" or "how is the food". Even the server never offered an apology, which is really all I was looking for - not trying to make a big stink. Id give them another chance just because my plate was good, but the laundry list of server inadequacies I encountered were enough to make me leery.

First the good. Great, friendly service. Wish I had read the health report and their history prior to visit. My son and I both ordered the sea bass. Good taste, though mine was slightly undercooked. Both of us experienced very mild nausea after the visit. When I asked if the fish was fresh the waitress stated they get fish in daily and prep it for service. Did not address the freshness issue. Overall nice atmosphere but food is less than stellar and not worth the $25+ price.

I was very satisfied after my visit here at Bonefish Grill. The food came out quickly, and the staff was very nice and helpful. However, I suggest to make a reservation before you arrive at this restaurant. There were a lot of people when I came, but I was lucky because I had already made a reservation so I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be sitted at a table/booth. One of my favorite dish was the tuna steak. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Love this location. I eat here on average 2-3 times a month. Even for a chain restaurant, this place is good. One of maybe 2 or 3 restaurants in the area that actually has fresh food that they cook in house, as in, no microwaved food like Applebees. The menu isnt huge but theres a fair amount of variety. Havent had anything off the menu I didnt like. They offer a full bar and bar staff is always on point.

Normally, this is one of our most favorite places and would have given 5 stars, but we had an off night last week. Server was awesome and I suspect the issues we had were beyond her control. 1st round of drinks and appetizer were right on, however the 2nd round and dinner were a bit off - not terrible, but under their usual standard. We WILL go back and most likely find them back on track, as usual.

Service was worst ever had. Food took over 40 minutes lobster was overcooked, didnt not get silverware until 10 minutes after food was brought. No refills had to get the manager to get it for me. Then she messed up my check and I had to show her the error to get her to fix it. Then my replacement lobster tail was under cooked. $120 fathers day dinner and wont ever be back

Bang Bang Shirmp Tacos are the BEST. Make sure to add feta, to give it a nice cooling effect to counter the BANG in the Bang Bang Shirmp. The Al Gratin was also the most cheesiest Ive ever had too. Was like eating Mac and Cheese! Highly recommend this place! Tiffany was a very professional server, she kept refilling my glass without me even noticing it was empty.

I have gone there many times with my wife for the wonderful bang, bang shrimp and a glass of wine. Also, I have gone there for a regular meal several times as well. It is a busy place, but the service is always very good. I must also say that I just cannot believe what Tony G wrote about this place. It just does not ring true based on my multiple experiences.
