I havent been to Olive Garden in quite a few years (no negative reason, just havent been in a while), well tonite a few of us (6, includes one child) went to have a Lil Birthday dinner and a drink for my daughters 29th birthday (its about 7:40/7:45pm), the come back experience of this particular Olive Garden (in Morrow GA on Mt Zion) was soooo disappointing, we are told that wed have to wait about 20-25 min., ok cool no problem, well we waited like 40 min., problem. The hostess told us that our table was being "cleaned" (not "cleared") off and well be seated in a few minutes, ok so we are taken to our table and it wasnt "cleaned" off, it was "cleared" off, problem, there was food crumbs still on the table, wet circles on the table from the drinking glasses, problem, we had to stand while the bus boy "cleaned" our table, problem. Ok so we sit, meet our waitress, order our drinks and food, the childs meal comes out first (thank god they feed the kids first, I guess) then the other two people food come out (appetizers) but as were sitting there, the time is just ticking and three of us notice like where is our food (entree), its literally going on like 20/30min. now, problem and the three of us still have no food. So were waiting and waiting, our waitress never asked were we ok, do we want more water, another beverage, more bread sticks....nothing, problem. So we asked for a Mngr. because it really was taking a very long time (its like 8:30pm now) and the three of us still do not have our food, we talked to the Mngr. (whom saw us waiting to be seated and even asked us if we were given a wait time) and expressed our disappointment, he showed empathy, and said he would discount our meal and get right on it, well I dont know what kind of "right on it" he was referring to but he too went leisure on us, problem and now its like 9:00pm, problem and we STILL HAVE NO FOOD, PROBLEM. So to wrap up this ventful review, we do wait a lil more before they finally come out and sing Happy birthday to the birthday girl (which sounded just as dry), oh we ended up having to get our food to go, in which we should of canceled it, its now a lil after 10:00pm. We pay our bill, and leave with our take-out order. I really felt as tho those few hours were waisted, food maybe good but poor service can leave a bad taste in your mouth everytime. LETS DO BETTER OLIVE GARDEN of MORROW, GA, off Mt ZION......

OK, where do I start...? So I went to OG for Valentines day last year, I PRAY they got new staff since then but I would NEVER chance going there again!! I got there and ordered an appetizer, I couldnt help but notice the laughter coming from the kitchen area. They were sooooo loud you could hear them from the waiting area. I FINALLY got seated After a 20 min await realizing it wasnt even that packed. It took over 20 mins to Get the appetizer and I had to bring the fact that we hadnt even gotten our bread and salad to the waiter nor a drink offer. He finally brought it out and Im not sure how they managed to get one of the best things the restaurant wrong but the bread was soooooo salty it turned my face, the salad had so much dressing on it , it was unbearable. After I explained this to the Waiter he did absolutely nothing about it. Now im from new York , our OG is much more upscale ud think all the waiters were college grads just making a few extra bucks over the weekend, their mannerisms were impeccable, their services are unmatched and I was treated as if i was paying a few thousand bucks per plate! I sadly found myself expecting the same in GA. WRONG! I ordered my usual, the tour of Italy, a shrimp order(they were over coked and burnt), my fiancée ordered the chicken Alfredo and my son had spaghetti, everything was disgusting! SERIOUSLY! All along I could still Hear the kitchen staff laughing hard as hell talking about smoking loud and drinking. I was later approached by another waiter b4 the check came telling my son there was games on the tablet that was on the table no concern for my finances so Im like "I guess he could play a few games since the service was terrible" she then said I had to pay for them. Im like wth? She said "oh I guess you aint got it like that" Im like youve gotta be kidding me.This much isnt going on in one night. Lastly, it was near closing time and my guy went to have a smoke b4 the check came, he was locked out of the restaurant and no matter how much I explained the HE was paying for our date night they wouldnt let him Im. I raised hell! I ended up paying for It. Ud think they would discount us for the horrible evening, food and service, but NOPE! They didnt. If I could give this restaurant a half Star, I would.. Just terrible..

Remember when Morrow was the gem of the southside? I do and to see how far down this area has gone is tragic. This OG is just that--tragic. The last couple of times Ive called to order takeout, no one picks up so I would just go somewhere else. I tried again 2 days ago and the To Go server actually picked up. Wanting to make sure I had enough money with me, I asked how much the Tour of Italy was. She obviously didnt bother to grab a menu and look it up, saying instead "Its, like, $19 or $20." I said, "For lunch???" and she said yes. I asked again, "$20?" because I have never paid that much for it. She hung up on me. I came home and looked it up and its $13. You were slightly off there, honey. Not only did you lose money for your business but also yourself because I tip well. And you cant give feedback on the OG website unless you have a receipt code to enter--so if the service was so bad you never got to the point of making a purchase, I guess they dont consider your opinion worthy unless you spent money there. Bye bye Southlake OG--you will soon go the way of all the other formerly great businesses in the area and you will have no one to blame but yourself. A far superior Italian restaurant is just up the road (Carrabbas). Also, I never have this problem when I call other OGs. Its just YOU.

Not horrible service - no service at all! I went during lunch and there were only a few customers in the restaurant. Despite the fact that ther restaurant was almost empty, the hostess said there would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table or no wait at the bar. Well not so. There were only 3 other customers at the bar and they all had their food so I thought it would be fast. The lady at the bar took my drink order (water), handed me a menu and went into the kitchen. When she returned I was ready to order but instead of taking my order, she took a phone takeout order. So by that time I had been sitting there for about 8 minutes. Then another customer sat down next to me and she took his drink AND his lunch order. After that, instead of taking my order, the waitress handed a menu to another lady who wanted takeout and then walked over to the register to ring up a previous tab. She never look at me the whole time I was sitting there so I left and will not go back
