My 1st critique of a Publix in over 30years. This is the first PUBLIX Bakery who did not have core decorative colors, could not write properly on the cake, and who had no empathy for the customer, and wanted to charge almost 100% more for a pathetic experience. Customer service, first at the bakery and then at customer service was Horrible. Went to get a cake for a High School student who got into Georgia Tech. They did not have the black color, and 2 employees including the Asst Manager said it unfriendly and unapologetically, with the 2nd employee rudely interrupting the Asst Managers conversation. So I guess Georgia Tech does not mean much to this store Because they did have Red, Yellow, but no BLACK! Then I requested them to draw a hat (a rectangle with lines dropping down) and this is the First store out of 20+ Publix cakes who Saud they would charge $8 additional for a $11cake to draw the small rectangle! When I got to check out counter, noticed the writing was not wrapped to the shape! The customer service manager said she did not see anything wrong and was unempathetic.. In any case, as a person who spent my early youth at the Lakeland facility and who understood what the Publix culture is (or was?) this is unacceptable. Im done getting cakes or produce at this location even though its a 10min walk from my house. I dont feel welcome, and certainly hope the bakery team at 1215pm today and the customer service manager get training to be more empathetic and friendly.

I LOVE Publix and I shop there at least once a week. They have great deals and the staff is always really nice and helpful. I go to many Publix stores because theyre all over, but this one is closest to my house, so Im at this one the most often. Most of the time, at this store, they are out of stock of the Buy 1 Get 1 Free deals (and only a day after the deals start), which really sucks. Everyone is really nice here, except the bagging people. They are nice, but EVERY TIME I go they INSIST on taking my bags out. I like to carry my bags out myself and its like Im being forced to have them walk me out. I know its a complementary service and theyre trying to be nice, but honestly, if I say "No thank you, Id like to take them out myself", then that should be the end of it. This has happened on multiple occasions, thats why Im writing a review. Its almost like a car sales man, you tell them no, but they keep insisting until you say yes. It really ruins Publix for me, at least at this store.

Accurate pricing for items on sale....there are no surprises like other stores. Produce and meats are always fresh and of high standards. Outstanding customer service. One employee gave a smile on my face...he was just happy with good attutitude and it make a big difference. He is afro american. Kudos to him. I love the BoGo....it helps me stretch my dollars. Keep up the good work.

I always love shopping at Publix. This location in particular has very friendly and helpful employees and management. My only criticism is the quality of baking from their bakery department. Cookies, pastries and breads that are baked in house tend to be overbaked. Cookies that are baked within 24 hours or less are always hard to bite into. Ive given up buying them for my kids.

I love love love this place. The store is welcoming, its always nice, bright and clean. The staff members are very friendly and helpful, especially the girls over in the bakery . I shop here weekly and wouldnt have it any other way. Please dont change a thing! loyal customer

Good grocery store in the area. The staff is generally pretty nice and helpful. The interior is clean, the deli well run, and the product selection decent. The checkout is usually pretty well-staffed so there isnt too long of wait times. Self-checkout too.

The deli has good food, but is super slow, especially around lunchtime. When I order a sandwich online its usually ready on time, but the big order I called in about was 25 min late. Otherwise, everything is good.

I wish I could have noticed her name but one of the cashiers here was so nasty, so rude, that I will never shop there again. She did not need to be in the front dealing with customers. Ill just go to Kroger.
