Discovered this place on my lunch break driving to some fat food restaurant, and figured, why not? The owner promptly greeted me and asked if it was my first time eating here, and proceeded to show me how they order. Its similar to Which Wich, in that you write your order on a sheet of paper. I ordered an 8in meatball sub and paid less than 7$ for it. It took about 5-10 minutes to make, which is typical for a toasted sub. I was a little disappointed that the sub wasnt as thick or girthy as most sub shops (like Publix or subway), but the taste reassured me that I was eating a high quality product. The meatballs were sliced, instead of halved, which is better because Im not going to try and cram a whole sandwhich into my mouth to eat the whole meat ball. Or risk taking a bite and having a meatball fall out onto my clothes. Despite the sandwich not being " murican-sized", it was amazing and definitely filled me up. All in all, I will definitely return here and continue to give this business my money. The only thing I wish they had were philly cheesesteaks, but it would require a larger kitchen. Thanks Alan, the food was awesome!

Everyone in my family has a gluten intolerance, so finding places we can all eat at safely can be a challenge. Most of the time we end up with mediocre food, and being able to walk into a restaurant and order an actual gluten-free *sandwich* (much less a sub!) has been beyond us for years. We were visiting the Alpharetta/Atlanta area for the weekend when we found Good Grub Subs on Yelp. We decided to give them a try, and it was a fantastic decision. At first, we were all a little unsure, but the lady behind the counter immediately gave us a tour and helped us understand how to order. She was incredibly kind and helpful. (So was everyone else, but she was the one we talked with the most) And oh my gosh...the subs!! They were DELICIOUS! Rarely have I ever had a gluten-free sandwich this tasty. All three of our subs were fantastic. We were all sad that we only had the time to visit them once during our stay. They will be our first stop should we ever pass this way again, you can be sure!

Good grub is a horrible place to eat! It is run by a couple that does not care about food safety! They advertise that certain things are gluten free and they are not! The meatballs, chicken salad, tuna salad, and cookies are NOT gluten free yet they advertise that they are, and sell these items to people with celiac! They failed there last corporate evaluation and did not hang it up in the store! The tables are sticky, the floors are disgusting and the dishes are not washed properly! The ice cream machine is broken and just sits there right by where food is prepped and it is full of black mold! They have cut and sold expired meat, cheese and vegetables! They do not care for there customers nor there employees! Stay away from good grub!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So well done. Food was good and the toppings were consistently distributed across the loaf. Bread was good but wasnt substantial. Gluten is only avoided if you have a sensitivity. Just because its gluten free doesnt make it healthier. I dont know if all the bread is gluten free but my bread was not hearty but simple. The quality of the ingredients were also good. I could taste the peppers and the jalapeños which went nicely to the Boars Head meat. Boars head isnt amazing it is just a reliable and very popular brand. The environment was average with everyone working. Service was helpful but otherwise calm. I would come back here again and try others. I want to try the Cuban next. That is hard to get right.

I have been here several times in the past year. The staff is friendly and helpful. The first time I was confused on ordering . They instructed me on how to fill out the order. I used the marker to check off the type of sub I wanted. My favorite is an Italian w/half pepperoni & half salami on a toasted bun with chips & a small milkshake for less than $10. The 8” sub is enough to fill you up. They also have salads. You can eat in or take it to go. Next time I will try the meatball sub as a reviewer suggested. BTW Publix subs are all bread (carbs) if that’s what you want. I prefer less bread & more quality ingredients.

Subs and wraps are awesome. These guys rock with their gluten free subs, the bread is amazing and they even have a dedicated prep line specifically for gluten free orders so there is little risk of cross contamination. I really wish they would branch out to other locations as it is a hike to get there, but all said and done they are totally worth every bite. Good prices, clean environment, and courteous employees!

Somewhat similar to which which with its paper slip ordering this place has excellent tasting food, friendly staff, decent but fairly average prices, and quick service. My only gripe is that the selection was a touch limited. Definitely recommend trying this place if youre in the area though as it is better than a lot of the surrounding options.

I have gotten sandwiches and salad from here. The food is made to order and tastes great. The Reuben on Honey Wheat bread was yummy in my tummy. I usually dont eat Tuna Salad but it was on the daily special menu for $5. I threw caution to the wind and ended up with an awesome sandwich.

Hit or miss. Sometimes the sandwiches are out of this world, and other times its a complete tasteless disaster, made completely incorrectly. Pro: very tasty when they get it right Con: takes forever to get your sandwich. Severely understaffed. Food is usually cold...

Found this gem by chance, needless to say my wife and I will be going back to try more of their options. The subs were phenomenal , the bread was great, and the variety of toppings is something Ive not seen anywhere else.

Weve been coming here a while and LOVE the gluten free options!! Unfortunately, though, the service just gets slower and slower! Nearly 30 minutes to get three sandwiches! It didnt used to take this long at all.

This small sub shop is way better than your chain sandwich shops (subway, which wich, etc...). Staff is super friendly and the food is always great! Clean environment as well keep it up guys!

They make what you want exactly to order, much wider variety of fresh toppings than the usual sub place. Good quality meats and cheeses. Worth the detour off the 400.
