11/22/16 5:45 PM Trinity location. 4 stars for the food, because I know the food is good from an earlier experience (I didnt get to eat this time). 0 stars for service because there wasnt any. It started out as a great idea to enjoy Taco tuesdays at Zim Zari. After arriving with my family, we were sat with our menus stacked up on the table. I passed them out. After 10 minutes of no one tending to our table, I turned on the timer on my phone. My pregnant wife was starting to get hungry and we literally saw another family being sat down, greeted with chips, and had there drink orders taken. Finally Manager arrives at our table and explains he just "took over" as if it was a sufficient reason for staff to ignore customers. We explained how weve been sitting for quite sometime and staff has passed our table by several times. We werent greeted with chips, our drink orders hasnt been taken, and no one has bothered to stop by our table. As my timer hit 10 minutes (thats 20 total minutes) and manager sitting at our table, chips and waitress have arrived at our table. The waitress explained she was in the back and she wasnt aware. The same waitress I saw pass us by at least twice before. I knew something was up then. I didnt feel comfortable there with my family. Honestly, we just wanted tacos. A family dinner together at what seemed like a friendly restaurant. Not to be offered a free drink in hopes it makes up for the bad service or lack of. If the staff didnt want to serve my family, fine. I wouldve left a long time ago instead of sitting there 20 minutes. To say "We didnt know you were there" when we were sitting in the middle of that section was absolutely rude. I know 1 family of 3 that doesnt go to your restaurant anymore wont hurt, but its still messed up. We used to really like this place.

The first few times here we loved it. We camecame for my mother in laws birthday on 5/7/16 they were not busy. Our waitress tells us the minute she came to our table that it was her first day. Had a few hiccups but figured everyone has a first day. Our main issue was with the fries, they tasted "funny", when I told the manager he seemed puzzled. I asked if anything else was cooked in the same fryer as the fries, he replied let me check. Did not come back. The waitress asked as she brought our check back if we needed anything else, i said the manager to answer my question. He came back and replied that EVERYTHING fried goes through the same fryer, and listed, pork, beef, shrimp, fish and fries! And was matter of fact about it then walked away when i said that is something you should be telling people! Especially with allergies! Just thought all should know since it does not say it on the menu.

Had a wonderful experience at Zim Zaris. We are new to the area and this place was recommended by multiple people. As a fan of Craft Kitchen (which has the same owners) we were excited to give it a try. We we were immediately greeted and seated on a busy Friday night. Chips and Salsa were at our table in under 30 seconds. The atmosphere was super cool. We ordered an appetizer which was delicious and tacos. Our server Tony was enthusiastic and had a great personality. The manager Josh came by to make sure everything was up to par as well. Prices were reasonable too! We will definitely be back!

We waited 15-20 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Not until we had already stood up and walked out, did a waiter talk to us and apologize. At the very least he was kind enough to notice, but the other 4-5 waitresses did not ask us for our drink order. One set chips down and just walked away. No, "Ill be right with you" They were not crowded and it was past lunch rush. I feel like it was because we were not dressed up like a doctor from the hospital next door and in casual attire instead. I do wonder if they assumed our tip would be bad. Bad first experience, probably wont be back.

This restruant and food are amazing. The service is great they are always nice friendly and remember your name when you come back. If your there with the family or just want to grab a drink at the bar its great. The free chips and salsa and the specials are great. Tuesday has $2 tacos. Filet migon is one of the choice its amazing and worth the wait! Sunday kids eat free. There are many other specials throughout the week. The food is always fresh and hot! And full of flavor. Its the best place in pasco and pinellas county! Dont miss it!

The service was good but the food was bland. I ordered the teriyaki wok bowl. The noodles were overcooked just slightly so they had a soft, almost mushy feel. It came with minimal veggies and the teriyaki sauce didnt have any kind of flavor. We started our meal with the volcano shrimp, which was a terrible disappointment. The once crispy shrimp got soggy under the large amount of sauce they were covered in. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I both ate there last night and both ended up with food poisoning. Weve been throwing up all night! Will never eat there again! *Update: I have since spoke with the owner and he was very helpful. Unfortunately I still wont be back but he even offered us to tour the restaurant to see how clean it was. He ensured me that they make all their salsa hourly and everything is fresh and cooked. Maybe we just had some bad luck.

Zin Zari has been hit or miss for me. Sometimes the food is very good and other times I would rather have eaten fast food. On my most recent visit I had the Volcano Shrimp Tacos and they were great. On several other occasions I had the Fish Tacos and they werent very good. The cooks seem to use a lot of very coarse raw cabbage in the Tacos which is a real turn-off for me. I like cabbage, but not this rough.

Have been hooked on Zim Zari for years. When we lived in the area it was a regular stop. Now even though we live out of atate, whenever we visit the area we have to stop! We love taco Tuesday, and how kids eat free on Sundays. I love the fusion of flavors and the monthly specials. Please keep expanding I would love to see more than just one!

Nice! Pleasant atmosphere. Attentive friendly staff... The food was tasty slightly bland to my taste but not dissappointing by any means. The price point was modest and a great value. This was my first visit... I will be returning tomorrow and the next day in order to give this place a proper and fair chance. So far... I really like this place!
