I rarely write reviews at all but this one is necessary. I was in a work conference all weekend long and got out just in time to watch football so I came to one of the rare sports bars on Sanibel island, the Sanibel Grill. Its a cute spot and set up quite nice except the tvs are small. First bummer was there being no decent beer selection on draft which was what it was, so I ordered liquor. The biggest turn off and disappointment was ordering ten hot chicken wings that came out so mild there was almost no flavor, the wings were served broken and in pieces that didnt even resemble entire chicken wings and they tasted bad, I mean BAD. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldnt.

We lived on Sanibel and frequented the Grill many times and loved the Grouper Basket it was our favorite. Havent been there in a while and visited with friends and bragged how delicious it was. It was terrible and I was embarrassed. Fish was thin, dry, and too much coating. Cole slaw wasnt that great either. Very disappointed.

Excellent food, great service and amazing atmosphere. Will highly recommend to anyone coming to Ft. Myers area and visiting Sanibel Island. Definitely worth the cost of toll to get here :-) Ask for Hector, he is super friendly, prompt and carries great conversation...5 Stars all around...

Food was fine, but the service was awful. Our waitress was far more interested in hanging out with her regulars than looking after her tables. As with a lot of places on Sanibel these days, you really feel that all they want to do is take your money and get the next table in.

They have a large menu with many good things. I’d recommend the “chowdah” it was very good - for those of you from Buffalo there is Beef on Weck. - I had the wings which were fantastic and my wife the buffalo shrimp which were also great. I’d definitely go back.

Good service pleasant sports bar atmosphere we came at 9:50pm on Easter Sunday the and were done by 10:40pm pleased with our food great ribs pizza, meat lovers and seafood and a fantastic grouper Reuben

Its your average Joe bar from anywhere int he country located in Sanibel. HOWEVER, it has a better feel than that and its extremely fun. GO and be very satisfied! Bunch of great beers and food as well!

Great food. The shrimp in the cocktail are huge and fresh. Seafood is superb with daily oyster specials . Plenty of TVs for sports nights. If you want a more subdued place go to the adjoining Timbers.

Awesome sports bar. Great food! Lobster bisque was awesome. Grouper bites, shrimp camps and the tuna all wonderful. Reasonably priced menu. Excellent service and atmosphere. Glad we made the trip.

Good food and friendly staff. The ribs were delicious and the wings have the right amount of crispy to them. I recommend the hot ones, the mild is more of just a vinegar taste than it is any spice.

This is great place to get a good meal and nice drink for a great price. Its a small place but can host family dinners, as well as friendly get togethers. There is a bar inside as well!

Small portions, inflated prices, poor service and mostly cold food. Giving 2 stars because shrimp scampi was hot and tasted good-not enough for price charged. I wouldnt visit again.

my family goes there all the time when we are on vaca. all the appetizers are so amazing. fried deliciousness. we basically order all of them. great happy hour specials too!

Good sportsbar. We have had Rips and Chicken. The Rips were too wet of the sauce and the sweet potatoes too slushy. Staff and pice is o.k.
