Horrible Christmas experience here. After work I stopped in looking for a bite to eat while watching the Steelers game. Unfortunately, the bar didnt have a food menu. However, they had hotdogs for customers who brought a drink. Being under 21, I had to settle for a soda. The soda came fairly quick as well as the check. The soda Came out to $4. I tipped the waitress $4 and explained how Im here for the football game. I asked her to set a price for me to watch the game prior to the 1st soda. She smiled and said the soda will be enough. However, about 25 min after that soda, I decided to get another hotdog, or I thought. Her boss, (a bald guy who gave me a glass of water after the soda in a dirty glass smh) acted like I was leaching off the food & water and saying that I must buy another drink prior to having a second hotdog. (The deal was help yourself to as much as youd like with a drink.) Anyways, keeping my composure, I told him how I brought the drink and kindly tipped the waitress. He didnt want to hear any of that and developed an attitude in his tone. Saying, I cant have water, and must order another soda or leave. As a 20 year old entrepreneur, I told him if thats how you want to manage your business good luck. Thats not how you should treat a paying customer or even an individual. In the meantime, the waitress softly said, her boss is making me charge you for another soda, is that okay with you? I said fine, paid the $4, tipped her an additional $2 and walked back to my seat with just a hotdog bun. At this point theres a decent amount of people checking me out while watching the game. I felt very uncomfortable due to this so called boss and just left the place without even taking a sip of that soda. Wishing everyone a happy holiday and hopefully, you never have to come across a situation like this in life.

A few blocks off Lincoln road, this place is easily overlooked. The lone "BAR" sign standing above the door and closed up shops to the left and right make it easy to walk right on past...but that would be a huge mistake. If you like beer, you owe it to yourself to check it out. Four beers are brewed on the premises and a number of other great selections are on draft...their Immaculate IPA is my fave of the moment. The crowd is mostly local and the laid back atmosphere a welcome relief after the pretentious madness on the east side of South Beach. Its rather small, but that just lends itself to the "local pub" feel of the place. Enjoy!

Kind of costly, but worth the time n money. Great crowd, n bring your dinner in with you. They wont mind. However, finger food is available. There are also free hotdogs on Sundays. Leave your pretentious, snobby -Miami- attitude at the door, n dress casual! Unfortunately, one of the managers/master brewers is childish on their FB account. He doesnt seem to take constructive criticism well- megalomaniac. Therefore, they lose a stars for taking things personal n not listening to their customers. It seems you cant criticize the establishment. If so, youre blocked from commenting on their Facebook page.

There are other beer places in Miami. Im not talking about Budweiser or Heineken or even Anchor Steam. Good house Belgian style ales on tap and lots of other good stouts, doubles and and triples. Left Hand Milk Stout (one of my favorites)... Delirium Tremens... St. Peters Porter, etc... The atmosphere and bartenders are great, too. And if you want a good ole White Castle slider, they have those too. Of course they dont have a huge selection, this isnt Oregon or Chicago or well... well, its Florida and be happy... be very happy that this place exists.

Beer and food was awesome. Large drink selection. All of the house beers we tried were great! It was a short walk from the beach, less than a mile. There was free hot dogs and potato chips when we went. The hot dogs were cooked in the house stout, which was awesome. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, we were very impressed. Laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, good food and good beer. Would recommend and would return again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! unless youre a local that likes amazing well crafted brews. I was in Portland last weekend and expected to be amazed by all the super fine craft brews. I gotta say that Portland didnt live up to the hype. The taps at The Abbey are up to par-and the local vibe is probably what Portland used to be like. My favorite place to drink in SoBe. So if youre not a local, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Soy homebrewer y las 3 cervezas de abadía que probé estaban excelentes!. El local es muy lúgubre, propio de la temática belga. Los precios acordes al sector.Sin duda volvería a ir

A must do if you like good beer!!! Its a great place, beer was excellent. Recommend the flight of their in house draft beers, a brilliant way to try them all! Staff were attentive and very friendly. As for food we were recommended a very tasty takeaway from next door, which we were allowed to eat in the pub! All in all one of the best places Ive visited while here in Miami!

Great abbey style beers at this place! Two reasons why it doesnt get 5 stars from me: its a very dimly lit venue. I found it impossible to read the beer menu without extra light from my phone. Secondly there is no foodservice. Might be a good idea to go elsewhere for food (like next door at the Yardbird) before attending here. Did I mention I love the beer? Its great!

Buone birre artigianali, purtroppo poca scelta.

Ducked in for their Anniversary party and it was a fine time, heres why: * Friendly crowd * Excellent service * Full liquor * Brewery too * Roasted pork out back for the party * Lighting by Farreys Lighting and Bath! So, this was my first visit, you know I will be back! Cabeza OUT!

This is a beer drinkers paradise. The bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and the beer selection is incredible with interesting and rare beers. It has a great, easygoing feel and is a favorite for all of my friends who live on South Beach.

The Abbey is a classic. One of the only places on Miami Beach where you can enjoy a locally-brewed beer, an authentic ambience and good music. Great place to grab a drink if youre looking to hang out and meet some cool people.

Really good beers I was truly impressed. I would have never thought that there would be beer like this in Miami. It is kind of hard to spot if you dont know where it is though, I drove right by it the first time.
