WOW!! I am actually still in shock from my experience last night! Last night was about my 5th time at this restaurant. The atmosphere is nice, and the food is decent, but the staff has always been a little unfriendly. Last nights experience blew my mind! I took my daughter out for date night w daddy and we ordered some soup, eggrolls and a couple of entrees, one of which was the roasted pork w vegetables. After tasting the pork, I immediately recognized the taste of rancid meat. As I have been cooking for 30+ years, and do so 5-6 nights a week, I trust my palate immensely. I told my daughter not to eat it, and she was worried bc she has already eaten a piece. I said "Dont worry about it. Just dont eat anymore". When the server came over, I whispered(because I was being polite to not let other customers hear) to the waitress that the pork tasted spoiled, and could she take it back. Keep in mind that we literally ate 2 bites. She asked me if I wanted anything else(a little too much), and I told her no thank you, we were fine w what we had. When she brought the check, the pork dish was still on the bill. I told her you didnt remove the pork dish, and she told me to tell them at the register. At the register, I once again whispered that the pork wasnt fresh and could she please remove the item. At this point, she told me that the pork WAS fresh, and that they bought it yesterday. I explained that I know what spoiled meat tastes like, and she kept arguing w me and told me that she would not remove it, because she knew it was fresh. I was so shocked that I said "Are we really having this discussion?!" After pressing and arguing back and forth 3-4 times over this $6.95 item(money wasnt the issue for me at this point), and after she told me that I must not know what "Chinese pork" tastes like, she finally agreed to remove the item from my bill, while also telling me "Next time you come, do not order the pork!" I assured her that there would be no next time. I am flabbergasted that this manager would argue with a customer for so long over a small dish that they didnt like. To lose a new customer over $6.95, which isnt even their cost is insane! And to argue w me like that in front of my 8 year old daughter is ridiculous! Anyhow, after checking their inspection reports on MyFloridaLicense, I see that they have had issues in the past w storing foods/meats at improper temperatures. Perhaps that happened here, but no matter what the reason, this was the most unprofessional experience that I have ever had in my life! Wow! I really am still in shock at the treatment I received!!

This place has really good food, but that is put off balance by the fact it took 45 minutes for them to get the food to us! The place wasnt busy, either; only 3 groups other than us...

Lucky Inn has AWESOME food. My family eats there twice/week. I love the bbq ribs, honey chicken, general tso chicken, orange beef, chow fun, egg rolls, soup, and the list goes on!

Traditional Chinese restaurant; surprisingly no alcohol is served. Food is good, prices are fair, and the service was quick and friendly.

Its your average chinese restaurant. Probably the best in this area. Consistent. Good service. My kids love the place.
