Very good food, decent pricing, and worth the wait. We had the Nutella banana French toast, blueberry pancakes, Bacon pancakes, nova platter, and steak and eggs. Everything was great and we had a very nice time together. Only thing was that my mom ordered a cold chai tea and it came with sooo much ice that she had three sips and it was done. She had to order another one with no ice just to get a decent amount. Besides that, no complaints on todays visit. However, the reason Im giving it 3 stars is because of the way we were treated yesterday (July 15th). A little back story: Yesterday was my brother and dads birthday and my brother really wanted to come here. We planned to go for brunch so i called a few days before and was told the kitchen closed at 2:45 pm for breakfast, which I found great. We planned on going earlier in the day, but something important came up and we couldnt until later in the day and we ended up having to rush over there. We got there at 2:40pm which I know is cutting it close, but we knew what we wanted to order. The server sat us down and told us that breakfast is no longer being served. My family and I tried explaining that it was their birthday and they really wanted to eat breakfast here but he said no and that breakfast had ended 20 mins ago. That would mean that it ended at 2:20, apparently?? I found that slightly hard to believe since I was told 2:45 over the phone. My family and I were confused but just let it go because we understood we were cutting it really close to the time, it was our first time there, and we just wanted to see if we had a chance to have a nice birthday breakfast like my brother wanted. We wouldve been completely okay with being told that breakfast was over because we know it was really towards the end of the breakfast time, but its the way the server treated us that made us feel upset. The fact that the server sort of cut us off while speaking and just said no right away, and how he walked away as were in the middle of asking him a question more than once was a bit rude. We decided to search of other places to eat because we didnt want to order off the lunch menu with a server like that. We decided to give it another chance today (July 16th) since my brother was really dying to go there. At least our server today was very nice and she seemed in a much better mood than the guy yesterday. But didnt make up for the fact that our plan of eating at green street on the day of their birthday was ruined.

This place is good, but my reason for not giving it 4 or 5 stars was the price, the variety, and the (slow) service. Came on a Monday for brunch (knowing we could skip the typical massive brunch crowd a Sunday brings) and were about 1 of 5 sets of people there. Still, things took about the same amount of time as it does on a Sunday, which was a bit disappointing (only thing we spared was waiting for a table thankfully). Our server was nice, but that was about it. As far as food, there are "options" but a lot of them are so similar to the others (blueberry versus blueberry with granola Pancakes...but no chocolate chip?) but with no true "variety". Ended up getting the french Toast to be safe, which in pictures looked like it was on Texas Toast but to my dismay was only thin pieces of bread (felt I couldve made this at home). To top it off, I asked for a few slices of strawberries on my french toast (which usually just comes with french toast but I just wanted to make sure) and literally got charged $4 for literally 3 cut up strawberries. Thats really when I kind of realized as much as this is a "good brunch spot" it was not worth my money for the quality and time I had spent at this point. The only thing that actually met my expectation was the Bellini. It was on par to Cipprianis Bellinis (which are the best) and was perfect. My bfs pancakes were good too, but again for the price Id rather go to Green Eggs Cafe (aventura) or Morgans (wynwood).

I saw this cafe online and was expecting great food and service based on the number of stars it has. However I was very dissapointed; The restaurant was relatively empty at that time (2:30pm) so we ordered and had to wait a very long time to get our food. After 45 minutes of waiting the waiter told us that there was one ingredient (some kind of cheese) that they where missing so they where going to prepair it with mashed potatoes instead.. we where so hungry that we agreed (even though our side was french fries...+mashed potatoes=too much). When the food came they brough the meat (my friends short ribs and my salmon) without the side orders.... so we had to start eating without them because they where "coming". The presentation was nice but the flavor was blah and the size was very small for the price I had to pay. So in conclusion overpriced, bad service, small sizes and taste its just ok.... nothing impressive

Went there yesterday for the first time with my husband and a friend. Sat on the patio for about 15 minutes and there were 2 bartenders on the bar right in front of us cleaning glasses (because there was no one in the bar) who didnt even aknowledged us. We finally asked the bartenders why no one have greeted us and they said they didnt know who was our server like that was not their problem. Finally, they got someone who looked extremely bothered to talk to us. We ordered the drinks and she just left and didnt even ask if we were ready to order appetizers (which we were after staring at the one menu that was already sitting on the table for almost half an hour). We all felt extremely ignored and left, because if you think for some reason you are better or above the people you are serving than i dont want to give you my money or enjoy my time at this establishment. Do not recommend this place at all.

Green Street is what would happen if Alice in wonderland and Tim Burton had a ugly child with each other. Thats not to say that the place is a bad one. Just the opposite. Large high backed foux red suede chairs are all over the inside and outside on the street. Its a great place to go and have a semi quiet drink. Their Manhattans are quite good, for a quick mix, and beers come fast after ordering. There are the "street vendors" youll have to put up with while drinking outside; but they will pass if you ignore them. I however did not, and ended up petting some guys snake.... No really he had a python around his neck. Go here if youre tired of fighting for a drink in town and want to enjoy a talk with a good friend or significant other. This was a great option for me because im a old man trapped in a 20 year olds body.

The Owner is a complete douche nozzle. From prior experiance of working there and seeing how the below average kitchen operates... I will never go back. Im suprised florida does not have a law against the slave labor they expect from us. Also the kitchen is mostly composed of illegal hatian immigrants that are payed under the table. Im supprised to see that there are people that watch this horrible establishment operate on a daily basis and no one has reported the owner to some form of regulatory committee. I hope this resteraunt goes under from the lawsuits that the employees will eventually file against greenstreet upon recieving citizenship.
