Location is convenient however, this particular location is way below the level of service Ive come to expect from Chik-fil-a. Ive been many a time. Every trip has been a nightmare. The seating, very much overrun with loiterers, maybe clearing them is not part of the security guards duties. The staff, very unorganized and not customer service oriented. Every time Ive been there, there have been employees that are apparently off the clock that are loitering by the registers. They also seem to think its okay to cut in front of people in the line. Or to make someone that was preparing my order step away to make them a shake because they were "getting ready to leave." And that type of behavior seems to be completely fine with the supervisor/manager on duty. I was so excited I was now going to have this in CoHi, but Id rather make the trip up to Silver Spring from now on.

If theres one fast food restaurant to give a solid 5-star to, its Chick-Fil-A. For fast food, the food is quality and youll be served your chicken sandwich with care and a genuine smile. I highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (To save a few calories, ask for no butter and a wheat bun- it tastes the same), waffle fries (The European in me gets light mayo to dip them in), and the honey roasted BBQ sauce (You have to special request this as they keep it behind the counter). They keep the restaurant clean and inviting with plenty of seating. They fun the place with efficiency so no matter how long the line, you wont wait long. I also commend Chick-Fil-A for converting to organic Honest Kids in their kids meals. Woo hoo! Welcome to DC, Chick-Fil-A. Happy Chick-Fil-A-ing!

First of all this place is black owned or franchised. They always seem to hire local inner city youth. And they are always friendly and respectful. Unfortunately qualities most of our inner city youth lacks. Place always clean food always hot. And my 7 year old lost her iPhone in the bathroom. When we realized we went back it was gone! I came back three days later for breakfast and inquire about the phone. The girl stops during peak hours to check and sure enough someone turned the phone in! Yea I know this is why people dont buy iPhones for 7 year olds

Let me start by saying that I love chick fila food. Never had I experienced what I consider bad customer service until I started going to the one in Columbia Heights. I had a coupon for one of their new sandwiches, granted I did forget to inform them that I can not eat cheese. Once, I made them aware, the manager and the supervisor stated to me that they can not make me one without cheese. I can honestly say they have lost me as a customer. Three bad experiences within a month is enough for me.

Apparently the owner of this location has implemented a 2 sauce limit as of this week--annoying enough right? (those sauces make the meal!). When I asked to purchase 2 more, they said they were not able to sell them, citing that providing more is not financially viable for the owner.... Then sell them? Big let down from a huge CfA fan. This place is already a pain to get to--sadly, its back to the Silver Spring or CUA locations, until H Street opens.

Surprisingly this has to be the Best Chick-fil-A that Ive ever been to. Mostly because, of the Manager on duty at the time. I dont know his name but, he addressed Every customer by their name. I know that we give our names when we place our orders. But, it was the way he spoke to the customers.....as if he knew us personally. I even saw him on the train as I was heading home and, he was still as pleasant then.

This place is the worst fast food, my first and last I was waiting in the line went I saw a employer cleaning her nose above the food the she pack to the customers, I said something but the manager dont say noting. Probably they dont care about their customers help or they dont have idea the flu is really fast to spread to other.

Probably the worst Chick-fil-a that Ive been to (partially because the other locations are so nice). Dirtier than typical, loiterers, and way more expensive (though that may be DC taxes). I had to ask for ketchup and was given one. When I asked for another, the staff member seemed annoyed. Food was as good as Im accustomed to.

Decent Chick-fil-a. Though when comparing it to others that Ive been to, this one is just eh. The sauces must be asked for (who wants to have to ask for the chick-fil-a sauce over and over), and the place is always crowded due to poor space management/planning. But if you need your fix, this will do just fine.

This is one of the worst Chick-fil-as that I have visited. The employees are rude and attitudal. I had a breakfast coupon and was unable to use it at 10:17 in the morning. Is that not still breakfast time? the sandwich that I ordered had to be returned because it was soggy and un-eatable. Wont return again.

Line moves quickly but getting your food takes forever. Dont go late at night because the staff is ready to go and very sluggish with processing orders. I went last night and they were out of everything. I definitely would prefer to go to one in Silver Spring or Annandale verses this location.

Worst Chick fil A Ive ever been to. We ordered one sandwich and two ice cream cones and were handed 2 sandwiches and 2 milkshakes (and charged for all that). Had to wait in line to correct the order, and the cashier didnt want to give us any money back and had to get the manager to help us.

Clean restaurant and mildly - friendly staff. The location is busy but there is ample seating and the line moves quickly. Waffle fries were not up to the standard I expect at Chick-fil-A (i.e. pipping hot and crispy). However, the sweet Sirachi sauce is amazing.

I disagree with some of the responses below; the Chickfila in Columbia Heights has a wide variety of delicious foods, which are distributed to customers in a timely manner. In addition, the customer service is phenomenal, and it is always a pleasure to visit.

When I redeemed my free sandwich by downloading the app, it was quick and easy. There was enough room for 5 people to sit. Our first time experience was fantastic. Would totally bring myself and my friends back to this Chick-fil-A.

A new location that isnt quite up to par due to its clientele. Bathrooms require passcodes for admittance; seating is overrun with loiterers. Same great food and abundantly friendly and accommodating service.

The staff here is usually friendly. Fast service. There just always seems like theres a lot going on in the lobby. One example, a man selling handbags from one of the tables and no one stopped him.
