After being discouraged by the food choices in Newtown (especially the Pizza) we decided to read the reviews of the local Chinese Restaurants prior to ordering. 8 of 9 people gave this restaurant 5 stars...we should have listened to #9! Not only were we disappointed but this was the worst General Tsos Chicken we have ever had. Overall it was bland, however there was a weird taste when we bit into the chicken...like too much garlic. The sauce was runny and the brocoli was cold (despite living less than 1 mile from the restaurant). Never going back there.

If you prefer food with a little sauce instead of sauce with a little food, then this is an excellent restaurant. The food is extremely tasty, fresh, and never swimming in an oil bath. Prices are a little high i suppose, but very competitive for the level of quality. Nothing ever tastes burnt which I cant say for most other locations Ive scouted in the area or all over Monroe. Always friendly service. Ive never stayed to eat, but the dining room has a pleasant atmosphere.
