This place is amazing. They make a sandwich that makes me want to cry every time I get it - the porchetta made with Mommas pork cooked w/ fennel, fresh mozzarella. The other items on the menu look amazing, too (fresh tuna, steak, veggies) but I love that one so much I just cant stop ordering it. You can get it 1/2 size, or the full panini for $8 - totally worth it. Just make sure you feed the meter for 20-30 mins, because it takes a longish time for him to assemble and toast it. The meter maids work this area. Just be patient - it is worth the wait. This is not fast food. For a special occasion, visit their fine dining restaurant, Skappo, around the corner. AMAZING home-cooked food.

Favorite coffee shop in down, by far! It feels like home every time you walk in, the staff is friendly and will remember your name, the food is fantastic and their salads come in incredibly generous portions. Check out Yvettes cookie jar, she just recently nailed the recipe--50 cents a cookie and the brighter your afternoon. Plus, their espresso is really yummy.

On top of the unbelievably delicious food, this place and the restaurant next door is run by the kindest, most inviting family you will ever meet. Be sure to check out their semi-dry tomatoes. Sure its nearly $20 a can, but you havent had a tomato until youve had one of these.
