My experience at Bin 100 was exceptionally unpleasant. The restaurant came highly recommended to me by customers at my restaurant. I decided since I had a night off, I would eat at the bar at Bin 100 and check out what all the buzz was about. The decor was lovely and the menu, though lacking many vegetarian options, was impressive. I ordered a glass of wine from Tomer, the bartender, who was very nice. I took his recommendation and the wine he chose was a rioja, and quite enjoyable. I asked him about vegetarian options and since he is fairly new, he had to ask another server about some of the items I inquired about. I settled on a spinach salad, minus the cheese, and the bruschetta as appetizers. Both were fabulous. While enjoying the two menu items, I asked Tomer what entree I should order since there didnt seem to be anything veg. I asked him in particular about the cavatelli, which included sausage on their menu. I overheard him ask another server whether I could order it without the sausage and if the prep involved any type of meat. At that point I heard the other server exclaim "Why dont you tell her to just eat dinner at Bloodroot instead." Totally obnoxious. So, I never finished my wine, salad or bruschetta, and in fact, headed over to Bloodroot and had a fabulous meat-free pasta dish there. I did however speak to Elena, the manager, before I departed, and she was very apologetic about the incident. I had already, however, lost my appetite for Bin 100. Its a lovely restaurant, with a fantastic menu, but they need to do a little bit more work with their staff in terms of the representation of their establishment to people of all gastronomic preferences. I was super uncomfortable.

Where to begin...The owner, Elena, is where everything starts. She created Bin 100. Although she makes it look easy, she is always reinventing her restaurant. She is ahead of the curve. She is a trendsetter. Elena carefully selects everything, from the menu, wine list and employees. Elena is also a very caring and compassionate person. She wants her guests to feel at home and have a truly enjoyable experience at her restaurant. Her wait staff mirrors her concept of the experience. She has a loyal following of regular customers, which is the acid test of a great restaurant. There is something on the menu for everyone, and she changes up the menu from time to time, which makes it even more exciting. Plus, she also has a four-course price-fixed menu which offers a large amount of options, and the portions are generous. I have not been able to finish all the courses, and always bring home a doggie bag. Dining at Bin 100 is an overall, consistently wonderful experience, be it your first date, a birthday or a large family or business party. Elena will customize your event to make it a memorable experience.

I had my wedding dinner here and was highly disappointed. The food over all was very underwhelming. The only reason I chose this place was due to all the great reviews it gets along with the 4.5 stars. Not sure who is eating their food and saying its amazing but an entire group of about 20 people all stated that this food lacked any flavor. Everything I had lacked flavor or basic seasonings such as SALT and PEPPER! One of my tables that the majority ordered Chicken Milanese, all asked for some type of sauce to put on their chicken which was basically dry, un-flavored chicken cutlet under a bed of undressed lettuce. As for the other entrees in my picking of the pre-fix menu. it was just as bad. Everything was either unevenly cooked or lacking flavor, that my 5 year old can do a better job on. The only saving grace was the meatballs for appetizer, and the coffee that was surprising strong and smooth. Overall this place is not worth time or money.

I work in the area and decided to try this place one evening after driving by many times on my way home. The food and service were indeed very good. I met the owner many years ago when she was opening. She said her guests are from from Westport/or she wanted this place to be similar to one found in Westport - it was an immediate turn off. I am not sure what she was trying to imply. I am a professional who works in the Milford area and one who enjoys classy places and people, not people who make it a goal of being a snob or trying to impress. In other words "say little, reveal much". I may go there again albeit I will not rush. I can find good restaurants in Westport, Bridgeport and Stratford. I hope she does not judge her guests as they walk in the restaurant.

Horrible experience. I guess you need to ask if the food is prepared fresh or not. I was trying not to ruin my girlfriends birthday so I kept quite. I ordered the Pork Osso Bucco which apparently wasnt fresh since the center was ICE COLD. Almost like it had been sitting in the fridge pre-cooked for over a day and wasnt microwaved properly. At these prices you expect to see better quality and food than you see at a bar. Extremely disappointed. Will not be going back. ****FOLLOW UP**** After speaking to them they agreed to refund the meal. WRONG!!! They ended up charging me a second time for the inedible meal. MORONS. Never going back again

Came with friends during Restaurant Week. Drinks, dinner and dessert were outstanding. We have steak, pork tenderloin, pasta ...pretty much all food groups and everyone was happy with their meal. Drinks put us in a good mood. The only downside...service was slow. I could blame restaurant week but by the time service slowed down it was not that busy. And the services issues were ordering drink rounds and having them come 15 minutes later. Not good. All in all, however, a great time and we will get back.

I have two favorite restaurants in Milford and this is one of them. Unfortunately I have only made it here twice, but both times everything was excellent. The service, the food, the wine, the atmosphere, I love everything about this place, definately looking forward to my next visit. I agree with the previous reviewer, ignore the picky eaters and check this place out if you havent already, you will not be disappointed.

There are no words to describe this experience. I had a Surprise 40th Birthday Party for my husband and Bin 100 made it a dream come true! With only the opportunity to plan via email, the Manager and staff executed unparalleled service and food preparation. Go, enjoy and share it with everyone you know! THANK YOU ELENA AND THE STAFF OF BIN 100! Feeling like part of the Bin 100 family...Love always Alex & June!

Excellent food, wine, and attentive staff make this my favorite restaurant in Milford. The staff is knowledgeable and always delivers a memorable experience. On one occasion, we had to wait a few extra minutes for our table and the owner emerged with two complimentary glasses of wine, apologizing for the inconvenience - a class act that we were not expecting! Bin 100 always exceeds my expectations.

Nicest restaurant to hit Milford. Some new restaurants have opened in Milford over the last couple years and we have had the opportunity to sample them. We agree Bin 100 surpasses them all. Restaurant is beautifully decorated, modern, and chic. We have not seen such professional waitstaff outside of our favorite restaurants in Greenwich. Food presentaion is superb and most importantly delicious.
