KFC and popeyes have nothing on NY Chicken and Biscuit. Their batter is incredily tasty, and their chicken quality is good. If you do go, make sure you get french fries with your order, because they beat any fast foods fries in my opinion; theyre always made fresh and have a hint of sweetness added to them. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices charged are noticably lower than their competitors. Its within walking distance from my office building, so i try to make it a weekly event for myself.

Really good fried chicken, well seasoned and slightly greasy(but come on its fried chicken it wouldnt be good if it wasnt at least a bit greasy). I got the fries and they were very good for American fries(but had nothing on Belgian frites) I saw someone else eating the halal and it looked really good as well(Ill have to go back and try). It does have very bad limited parking but on the weekend this wasnt a problem. It also does appear to be in a bad part of town so take care if you are visiting at night.

I drive more than 30 minutes 3 times a week to get fried chicken and rice with grilled chicken from this establishment. I will not lie....hands down the BEST fast food place in the greater Hartford! They have quality fresh meat all the time. I love it...keep up the good work

Good halal takeout. Tasty fried chicken. I recommend the teriyaki chicken and rice with salad. I only wish they didnt use styrofoam packaging.
