This place has been around since the 50s. Originally, it began as a hangout for Coors employees. Its filled with awesome Coors memorabilia and old stuff you cant find anywhere else. The back yard is amazing, and is huge. The service is always friendly. They offer ski and snowboard tuning as well! Horseshoes are available in the spacious backyard if you want to get your game on. If you want craft beer in many options, stick to the hipster local breweries. But if you want a classic bar with good views, good people and old school atmosphere, go to the Columbine. Chris will be happy to serve you.

Its crazy that no one has reviewed this little Golden gem. This bar is no-frills hole-in-the wall with great atmosphere, great patrons, and great staff. If I lived closer this would be my go-to-place for after work drinks. I know that smoking ban made huge impact on their family-run business so if you find yourself in Golden, you have to go and check out this place. I recomed it!!!!!!
