The following used to be or go to place since before we moved up here two and a half years ago. Their wings were amazing, the pizza delicious, and the freckles and fried Oreos … I dont know if you are under new management or owners for the last few times weve been to Fowl Line has been terrible. First my 12-year-old nephew asked for change for a 20 so we can play the video games he was instructed by an employee to go to the bar . really? You tell a 12-year-old to go make change at the bar. We spoke to the manager and she did correct the situation. Next , the food and service was beyond horrible . We understood that it was a Friday and March madness but the place was definitely not packed and there seem to be plenty of servers . Our waitress took our appetizer order and never came back . We got our appetizers before we even placed her main order . When our order did come out it came out in two batches 10 minutes apart . The waitress said she put into separate tickets to the kitchen when get confused, to stop for her but her order was not complex at all . We had three side salad approximately 45 wings split between nine people three kids meals and two buffets . Not overly complex . The salad was brown and slimy and mine is found a half eaten French fry in hers . The pizza look like cafeteria food and crust was white as if it had not even been cooked. The last straw was yet spilled a drink and had asked the waitress for napkins as water was pouring into my friends chair. She told us there were napkins on the table meaning the cheap ones in the dispenser . I guess the final thing that was so so upsetting was how intoxicated people were at 5:15 in the afternoon . Granted it was much madness but there were three women who were so wasted in the bathroom that they had to be hit by the door to let people out, force one young mother to take the child out due to cussing, and even made me uncomfortable which is a hard thing to do . These women were at least in the late 40s or 50s and gave the place a feel of a dive bar as opposed to a sports bar. Based on all of us we will never return to fowl line

I have been to the Fowl Line several times, and while I have never been impressed, its always been okay. Until tonight. I went in with a group (they knew ahead of time) and we were all in the party room. My son and I arrived at 8:05 and ordered our food at approx. 8:15. I ordered the nachos and he got a french dip sandwich. Well, it took an entire hour for our food to come out, plus another 5 mins for the french fries! The waitress, who seemed way overwhelmed, kept saying it was coming right out. After the third time, I kinda gave up on that. People in our group who ordered 5-10 mins after us received their food and ate it before ours came out. Im no chef, but im pretty sure I can melt some cheese and slice some prime rib faster than 60 mins. My son was a trooper...he ate his french dip sandwich, with cold prime rib on it, without complaining. Nachos were okay, at least the chips that had cheese on them anyways. I thought for sure that by the way the waitress kept apologizing to us and having to tell us our food was coming that it would have been compd or at least discounted. Nope. The Fowl Line can be an okay place to go, but dont plan a party here unless you have all day to wait on your food.

Great place to host a sit down dinner for 20 – 30 people! The Fowl Line Sports Grill was the answer for us. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. We recently celebrated my father’s 90th birthday by inviting 20 friends to a classy sit down dinner. We met with the owner, Roger Hurst, who allowed us to use a private room at no extra charge, helped us plan the menu to include food that was not normally on their menu. The beef loin steaks were delicious! Roger helped us plan the evening which included a schedule of when appetizers, salads, time for Dad to speak, main course etc. including the time coffee would be hot to enjoy with his birthday cake. Our dedicated server did a fantastic job of seeing the needs of each guest were met. An added perk was that because it is a sports bar the room had four large HD televisions so we were able to show a slide show of his life. The total cost was so reasonable. I highly recommend looking into using the Fowl Line if you’re ever hosting a small group of people for dinner or a party.

Im actually not from Castle Rock, CO, but I visit my sister and her family there at least once a year. This is the place I want to go every time we decide to eat out. I know they are known for their chicken or wings, but Im not very adventurous, so all Ive had is the peperoni pizza and calzone (my favorite thing there). Having said that, not once has it been made incorrectly, tasted weird, or otherwise been wrong in some way. Which I believe is hard to say of any restaurant; fast-food, sit-down, or other. They are always delicious! I dont usually stuff myself, but I cant always help it when I order something here. P.S. I loved the "The Simpsons" pinball machine the last time I was there (mid 2012). Note to the owner(s): If you ever find you need to get rid of that for any reason, let me know, please! ;-)

We were sooo excited for a sports bar that we could take our family to. This place has great feeling when you walk in. Waitress was a bit ditzy but that was OK nice to see young gal working. Our 6 year old was served RAW chicken bites. He threw up at table. No kidding. Also taken back when I asked to get 1 order of wings (10 wings) split 5 boneless and 5 bone in. The menu states $8.00 for 10 wings either way. I was charged extra for splitting wings in half Very disappointing. All sandwiches (if you add fries) run almost $10.00!!! For family of 7 not good enough to go back.

Brought home two pizzas - the minute I opened the box I thought I should get a refund. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza but the sausage was hardly anywhere to be seen. It was in very fine crumbles and only on about a 1/4 of the pizza. The crust was also far below par - no crunch or flavor to it. We were supposed to have friends over and I planned on serving this pizza. Thank goodness they cancelled due to illness because I would have been embarrassed to have them eat this unworthy pizza. Never again for the Fowl Line, especially if youre a sausage lover.

PROS: The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what you might want / expect in a sports bar. Good selection of beer on tap. CONS: The wings were surprisingly small for the price. At $1 per wing (and advertised as "our famous wings"), you would expect quite a bit bigger. Overall the menu seemed slightly overpriced. FINAL: Nice place to enjoy a game, but a bit pricey. Friendly staff. Very clean restrooms. Invest a little more money into some quality wings and this would be THE place in Castle Rock to watch a game.
