OK the decor is not going to bowl you over when you come in, and sitting near the door on a cool evening can be a bit chilly, but if you want to find a little piece of authentic Hawaii culture in Northern California, you couldnt do better than Ono Teriyaki. The instant we walked in for the first time we were transplanted to our favorite plate lunch places in Hawaii, such as Kualapuu Cookhouse on Molokai. Plain decor, for sure, but happy families at most every table enjoying very good food at very good prices. A great value for your money in todays times. They offer Japanese food as well as Hawaiian dishes, and the teriyaki is indeed ono! Mahalo especially from this vet for showing support for our veterans and active duty military, and for the Woodland community in general. Simply a great local business.

Meh. Ive only been here once and only tried the sesame chicken. Its a Hawaiian-style BBQ/Japanese restaurant in a business park. The food I tried was nothing to rave about, but it wasnt bad either. It was not overly sweet, greasy, or salty, but it also wasnt very flavorful. The macaroni salad was the best part of the meal. Ive got to give them credit for the chicken actually seeming like real chicken (some of these teriyaki places serve that flattened, stringy stuff you wonder if its really chicken or not, but this chicken was obviously real chicken and moist). Since its close to my office and open fairly late, Ill probably eat here again, but I probably wouldnt drive out of my way to do so otherwise.

Tried this for lunch today and it was pretty good. Had the teriyaki chicken and honey chicken Friday special. Tasted too much the same but Ill be back to try other things. I would give four stars except I feel like I nearly grew up on the big island and this food doesnt compare. Three stars in comparison to my favorite Big Island Grill in Kona. Four stars for sure if I didnt have the personal comparison. Very generous portions.

Very good food for a cheap price. Thai chicken was excellent as was the teriyaki. The thai chicken and noodles was amazing and the portion was enough for two. The spicy chicken is breaded and has a weird sauce, not a fan of that one. By far the best teriyaki place in Woodland.

This place has the best Thai Chicken I have ever had. The servers are very friendly. I have never, and I mean NEVER had a bad experience at Ono. Prices are more than reasonable. I recommend this place 100%! Not much else to say other than its a great place to eat!

BEST TERIYAKI CHICKEN IN WOODLAND!!! Been coming here for 4 years now. The chicken is grilled and perfectly seasoned served in large portions. Expect a 30min wait during lunch to be served. I recommend to call in 20 mins ahead.

Theirs something here called the ono affect, once you have ono there is literally no going back. Its amazing me and my family have been going here for years I seen some staff come and go but everyone there is extremely nice

A really great lil place tucked away in Woodland. The food is great and prices are reasonable. The Hawaiian BBQ Mix is really good and enough for 2 medium sized meals. Or 1 big meal if youre starving. Give them a try.

Great food every time, i love their Terriyaki Chicken Bowl and their specials are great too. Pro tip is to call your order in advance as this place does get rocking around lunch time.

Onto is consistently good. Service is usually excellent and food is ample with prices pretty good comparatively. My only complaint is I think $1.50 is too high for scoop of rice.

its hard to find good hawaiian food on the mainland, and this little hideaway in woodland was a pleasant surprise. portions are huge, you can easily share, and the prices are fair.
