OMG! Since when are veggies in Beef Chop Suey mushy? I came in for dinner, was seated and then sat there and waited. Two more tables were seated after I was, the waiter took the first table, then proceeded to the second table and was taking their order. O.k., I wasnt going to let this ruin my night. After waiting again while the waiter went into the kitchen, I kind of started to get upset. So I went up to the counter and ordered to go. I should have known better. I ordered 2 meals to go. The Beef Chop Suey had mushy vegetables.Cmon, no bean sprouts, nothing crunchy, mostly yucky mushy broccoli and bok choy. My dog ate it. He seemed to enjoy it. The beef and broccoli, which I only tried the broccoli, and it was way over cooked and mushy. Dont you like crisp broccoli? I dont know what was up with this place tonight. The fried rice was greasy and stuck together. Again, my dog seemed to enjoy it. The fried shrimp was good as were the egg rolls. But the entrees sucked. The food used to be good here, veggies always crisp! Maybe they got a new cook or something. Totally bad experience. Who wants to spend $30.00 and it turns out to become an enjoyable meal for your dog? I swear he wolfed down those mushy veggies, greasy fried rice, and beef. He has a cast iron stomach. The portions are large, but who wants large portions of bad food? Not me!

Been going here for over 10 years. However, over the past year the quality of the food has gone down. I hadnt been here in months I was pressed from time and placed a phone order. When I got there the lady proceeded to tell me they messed up and gave me the dinner instead of the lunch. She then told me its only .45 cents more. However, the lunch special was $6.50 and due to error on their part I was charged for the dinner which was $9.95. How is that .45 cents more. And since its your error shouldnt you have given me the dinner and changed me for the lunch? I ordered the lunch special for a reason. That will be the last time I go to the Golden Pheasant. Its not so golden anymore...

Quality of food and portion size has gotten so much better since they remodeled the restaraunt. Staff is very polite and attentive. You cant go wrong ordering the won ton soup. We love ordering their vegetable dishes cuz they pack them with so much flavor. Even the classic dishes have gotten better. Mongolian beef and the scrambled eggs with shrimp are our go to dishes here.

New management - bad outcome - scrimp on lunch special portions. Charged 50 cents extra to use a credit card. New owners must be underfunded and therefore the quality/quantity of food will be affected. Used to eat here alot. Will never go back.

Well I have been back after the new owner took over and The duck was very good. The chow mein noodles were ok. Unfortunately my combination house fried rice did not last the next day it spoiled even in the refrigerator.

Terrible experience service wise. Food was alright. They said they they made a mistake in the bill by one dollar, but i checked and it was actually a 10 dollar difference. How greedy can you get??
