Take your hearing protection!!!! This place sucks, its so LOUD...Between the distorted music and it being SO LOUD, everyone has to SCREAM to hear each other and just adds to the noise level....REAL British Pubs are a social gathering and you cant have that without being able to communicate...Try The Kings Head in Santa Monica...a REAL brit pub...best fish and chips too...Ill never waste my time going back to this fake place with its many "bar flys"...NOT A BRITISH PUB...just another bar full of loud drunks...A brit pub that sells tacos??? WTF???? Im guessing the owner is actually mexican...or at least theyve never been to a real brit pub....Can I sue for hearing loss????

So coming here since the first day that it opened and bringing my well known Irish wolf hound Pete, I still think that this establishment by far exceeds the expectation of just a good old fun bar / pub. WHEN you walk in you are family. Thousand Oaks is proud to have this bar as an icon of the community. MY family loves coming to this place knowing that we will be greeted by the kindest staff and the warmth of the English people. Not only is this the best family restaurant but also an awesome sports bar for whatever the sport you may like. Thanks Crown and Anchor for being a part of my families life. Hoorah

I went here for the first time a few months ago despite living in the Thousand Oaks my entire life. The bar area is very cute and caters to the soccer fan which is great considering most sports bars in the area dont. The restaurant area is nice as well and the service is great. The hostesses arent especially friendly but the waitresses have always been cheerful and sweet. The food is fantastic and if you dont enjoy British fare then you can always order a salad, sandwhich or burger. I have grown to love this place and go almost every week for their Monday night trivia contest.

We ate here as a part of a group of 4. The waiter was friendly and quick to help us and had our drinks order brought to the table super speedy. The food was really fabulous, we all ordered something different and all were impressed with our meals. We arrived late so had limited choice of where to sit as this restaurant transforms into a night club later in the evening- not a problem for us- really quite cool! but if you are after a more chilled out meal I would arrive before 8. would defiantly come back for dinner and drinks if we make it back to Thousand Oaks CA again.

My dad and I were looking for somewhere to go for lunch and decided to try this restaurant. After waiting for nearly 15 minutes to be seated when we were the only ones in the entire restaurant a hostess finally came and showed us to a table in the corner of the dining area. After ordering the food took nearly a half hour to arrive when again we were the only customers in the restaurant. The food was really quite disgusting it seemed like they just slopped everything together and the plate. i will not be coming here again. horrible service horrible food okay atmosphere.

First time there Saturday, June 24th. The server was super nice. The food was excellent. Will definitely go back. I need to try everything on the menu. Normally I wouldnt want to. Never had a Margarita on the rocks. Usually blended no salt. No more. On the rocks it is. Perfect. The only complaint is about the Security person....possible bouncer. 1) didnt ask for Id when we entered. 2) Ignored me when I tried talking to him. He spoke to the man I was with, gave me a look like why are you talking, and then continued to talk to my friend. Otherwise love the place.

My lil old dad and I were looking for somewhere special to go for dinner and he chose this little joint. Well after waiting nearly ten minutes to be seated while we were the only ones in the restaurant we got shoved into a corner and forgetten about. I decided to be adventurous and order something different and got the toad in a hole well besides taking a half hour to arrive it looked like a pile of pig slop and was absolutely disgusting. wouldnt really recommend unless you like cruddy food. i would not be surprised if me or my good ol dad got sick later.

Love the food the 3xi went there. I love that they dont use sourdough for their clam chowder their bread roll is as perfect as the chowder itself. A perfect carrot cake I could eat every day if the week Im glad I decided to order all the desserts they had the last time I went. They were all amazing and it would have been my loss if Id only picked 1.

This is a fun place to hang out on the weekends during both day and night. They open early on days when there are European soccer/football matches on and the bar usually fills up with a polite but excitable crowd of sports fans all enjoying the games together. I love coming here with friends and getting a drink or two while a match is on.

Just visited this pub lastnight. There was a group of 5-7 grown men there apparently celebrating 2 of the guys birthdays. They took over the place, and made it very uncomfortable. So sad my husband and I picked this place to get a proper English entree. Finally they left and the bartender and server paid more attention to us.

We were here to see Copycats. We ordered the fried fish sticks and a chicken fajitas salad. My salad was good. My date did not like the fishes too much. There a is a patio outside under the tree. Good place to have an outside birtday party

I think this place maybe tries a bit too hard to feel English. I wouldnt really order a burger and fries at an English pub though. To thine own self be true. This is a great place to just get drunk. Which I did.

This place is really amazing, Ceasar salad was so tasty they have special recipe for that. Pizza was ordered by slices but it was freshly made not remade. Probably have to try their calzone next time!

Just finished having lunch at the C & A. I ordered Toad In The Hole and a Guinness. Excellent! My friends and I enjoy every item on the British menu. The food and service are consistently great.

Get. This. Fried. Chicken. The sides are OK but the chicken is fantastic! I suggest you stick with the beans and the peanuts. Grab a beer to go with it and youve got yourself a happy night.

Love the atmosphere and service but the beer on tap is not cold , my wife and i enjoy going but now we are debating if we will go back , just dont like warm beer , hope they fix this problem

I have been a patron for the past 2 years. The bartenders are great, the patio and bar both have great chill atmospheres, and loving heckling is tolerated. ♡ ;)
