Ive been here twice and was not impressed by either dish. The Mongolian beef was not real beef, and the dumplings had no flavor. Crab Rangoon was delicious, but expensive. And although the service was friendly and fast, this place isnt worth the money. I suppose I understand the popularity given its location but these qualities do not excuse subpar food.

I enjoy the food and the service Ive been coming here since Dad and Mom was running things back in early nineties food tastes like what I was raised around in my neighborhood in Los Angeles I hope this place goes from generation to generation so when Im in Stockton I can get a good meal 4 a great price check it out

It is a great place. Just make sure that you know what you are ordering. Im not too familiar with Chinese food but whatever I ordered was really good. The inside of the restaurant looks really good and felt like being at home.

OMG this was the PLACE to eat. EVERYONE in Southside at one time or another had dinner ,lunch inside and for sure take out. I envied my cousins who always ordered or dined in greater Chinese food.

My family has enjoyed the Golden Star Cafe since i was a child. Awesome food, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Love their Pan Fried Noodles with just about any of their entrees. Yum!
