I just came back to California less than a week ago when my contract expired to be a personal chef to a businessman and his family. I thought I would come visit Venus Lounge since it was almost two years since I last graced my presence there. (2/22/2014) Staff (by staff I mean bouncers, bar tenders, and servers) was friendly as I recall but the dancers? Not so much. Last night there was dancer, whose name started with M and wearing killer short white t-shirt with very cute pink underwear that showed off her assets and everything else very very nicely, and I thought to myself I got to get a dance from her before I left. After she got off from the floor I approached her and told her that I was very much interested in her and perhaps I could buy her a drink or two. She said sure and she will be right back, so I sat down nearby table and waited with few $100 in my pocket. Instead of coming up to me she proceeded to sit down table next to mine and chat with other dancers and patron that was sitting there. I thought to myself that she was most likely giving greeting and chatting lightly. To my surprise she parked herself to that table, eating what was left of UFC fight buffet. Being an idiot I am I waited good 45 minute before deciding to head out. Any who enough with my ranting this is my renewed rating of Venus Lounge: Did I enjoy watching the dancers? Yes. 4/5 Were the staff (by staff I mean bouncers, bar tenders, and servers) friendly, clean and courteous? Yes, especially the server in red corset last night! She was always smiling, laughing with patrons, very good looking, flirtatious, very good at reading patrons and giving recommendations on drinks, good at redirecting patrons attention to dancers, did I say flirtatious already? 5/5 Was the bar clean? As far as I can see yes. (oh come on! There is only so much you can see with lighting and distractions!) 4/5 Was the Bathroom clean? No (At least on mens bathroom and I couldnt exactly go into womens bathroom) 2/5 How would I rate dancers behavior and mannerisms? 2/5 Ive talk to three other dancers last night and they were more keen on keeping to regulars exception would be a one dancer whose stage name started R, whom I bought a dance from for my friend who came with me. (As far as I can remember only six dancers last night so I think talking to over half of them is good to get estimate) Would I go back? At this point its a big resounding No, if I wanted to go out for a drink I would rather have gone to Foxfire. 2/5 Would I recommend to others? Once again big resounding No, unless you are already a regular there the dancers would most likely avoid you unless it was getting closer to closing time. 2/5 Last comment: Honestly, if it wasnt for the spectacular server in killer red corset I would have rated 1/5.

Terrible. Ill be succinct with this: 1. "Strip club" usually means that there are dancing girls. I know its only 4PM on a Saturday, but cmon, you should have at least someone dancing on the stage after Ive been there with my friends for an hour and a half. 2. Food prices are decent and the food isnt bad. Only upside to this place, though if I wanted a greasy burger Id go to a burger joint. 3. Service... not so great, especially for the prices. Heres a tip: for 15% gratuity you shouldnt be rude to me or impatient 4.5 seconds after you walk over to ask what Id like. Furthermore, Im not psychic, so me asking what you have on tap isnt me screwing with you, especially for $8.50 for a beer. 4. The ATM here is the only one I have *ever* seen that charges $2 *or* 8%, whichever is higher. Usually at a strip joint Ill take out $100 to $140, but for 8% youre looking at $40 tops... of course the requisite there is you actually have girls dancing. 5. No toilet seats? Look, weve established that your place is a dump, but neither the men or womens bathroom have toilet seats. I only needed to take a leak, but what about the ladies? Thats just cruel and trashy. 2/10 would not bang.

I need to give props where props are due. Ive enjoyed all my visit to this establishment. The price is right. The food is perfect for a sports lounge. The drinks are "heavy" for the price. The servers are very friendly especially Alex, Toni, and the other asian bartender. The staff is observant and yet courteous to your visit. The entertainment is perfect for this laid back place. They dont push up on you and when you are able to talk with them, they are not money hungry. This place is perfect for the shy guy and the guy who just wants to kick back. Look for Megan, Victoria, Honey, Kimme, but stay away from RC cause shes mine. J/K! Visit this place. If you do it right, youll never want to go to those money hungery strip clubs that dont give you any attention unless youre a "baller". Thank you Venus for making my visit great.

The place is continually packed with lots of girls. food is good and the beer prices are very reasonable. They have 3 different bars in the place. 2 pool tables which are free on the weekend. A private, outside smoking area. Something like 25 different big screen tvs. I go for the UFC fights which they always show for a small cover charge, but it comes with a free buffet so its definitely worth it. All the bartenders Ive dealt with are very nice. Makes a big difference, have dealt with too many attitudes in these types of places in the past. Would definitely recommend this place for a bachelor party. Food, Girls, Boobs, Booze, did i mention girls and boobs?

The girls are sweet, the beer is cold, and the tunes are loud.... What else do you f***in need, my friend? Always a great time if you can avoid the occasional A-hole! Everyone working there is friendly, with a great attitude. The vibe here always positive, sometimes getting crazy about 11 pm. Isabel, Haddasa, Lena, Melissa,Luna,Elle,Michelle,Jasmine,RC,Austin,Rose,Cristina,Victoria,Harley,Yvette, and all the other girls....love you all!

So I just came from venus, kinda busy, didnt try the food, since itried the drinks. The drinks were all watered down due to how much ice is put in the drink. As for girls they dnt looks that good, will give it another shot when its not that busy. Btw my jaggermeister bomb would equal four of their drinks combine and I mean any 4 of their drinks

the girls are ghetto, the food sucks, and the bouncers are 5 feet away from you waiting for you move your hands off the couch. the management is the worst i have seen, they do nothing to protect customers from piickpocketers

Chill place and good beer selection. They have nice waitresses who are very friendly. Highly recommend to come and hangout with friends. Kids are not a good environment due to loudness and hosting services.
