Maybe i lived in a dream but back in the day Chevys experience was a lot better. Today i visited this location 15 miles away to have a decent meal but my experience was short changed. I was sat in a booth where seats seem to be have been semi-repaired but had opened up again revealing the cushion, i asked to be moved to a regular table. Restrooms were not clean paper on the floor and the mirror inside the bathroom has big beer brands or saying obscuring the guests reflection. When it came to food quality was low and disappointing at best. My daughter ordered a chicken burrito plate with no beans and when it was served there were 2 large scoops of spanish rice (one comes with meal and one replaced beans), but what was upsetting was event the burrito had a large amount of rice. When the burrito broke the plate look like rice was the meal and the burrito was the side. I ordered the combo fajitas and it seemed to have been sitting for a while because it was warm at best which was very noticeable when the next tables came out their plate was sizzling. I brought this to the attention of the manager after i had already paid for my familys meal to help improve the overall experience for the next guests. My bubble for the chain was bursted and it is not likely i will return or recommend it. Very disappointed.

The waiter was friendly but the food was disgusting. My food took about 20 mins to arrive. I ordered the chicken burrito. It was stuffed with rice, had no chicken in it, and the whole thing was very bland. They put rice on the side; but with as much rice as there was inside the burrito, it was overkill on the rice. It also came with refried beans, but they just tasted like salt. I ordered the strawberry margarita and Ive never tasted anything so bad. Ill not be returning. How disappointing- Chevys used to be really good. There were maybe 3 more couples at tables besides me, not busy at all. I went there about 1pm and thought it would be busier. Now I know why it was so empty. Ill go to Aqui next time.

I WILL NEVER GO BACK! They now charge extra for tortillas. The free tortillas was what made them unique. To top things off service sucked. One server was loudly detailing her exploits at a party she just went to. They were all so involved in the conversation that four tables were ignored for about 10-15 minutes. We talked to the manager and she said Chevys will be changing their menu and raising their prices. She said it was a result of a higher minimum wage they were being forced to pay.........In any case there are other Mexican food places we go to. Each with their own unique hook. We will going to one of those. Chevys is off our rotation.

It was the worst experience we had here at this restaurant we have been going to chevys for as long as i can remember have celebrated our birthdays at chevys ..but on 01/02/2017 was my husbands birthday ..well to make it short they messed up on my husband order the waiter didnt complete our order our appetizer never came ..and no piece of cake to sing happy birthday I felt bad cause I had told the cashier if they could take a piece of cake and sing happy birthday she said our waiter would take care of it.. But all he got was a flan and no one came to sing happy birthday.. This Chevys is the worst ever

Ordered a half rack of ribs. But just 4 rib bones? So if you get the ribs, beware of the size. The taste was fine, and they were good ribs that came off the bone nicely. But the half-rack is very misleading. Searching online for the size of a full rack of pork ribs it says 13-14 ribs, so I should have gotten at 6-7 ribs. The very small size of the ribs was compensated for with a huge portion of french fries. So $12 for 4 ribs and more fries that I cared to eat. I left still feeling unsatisfied with my meal.

My friend and I went here for her birthday and we had split checks. Her food arrived more than 5 min before mine and when I complained they said they would comp my food. Good thing because I got chicken fajitas and the onions were undercooked, I probably got 5 strips of bell peppers on the entire platter, the tortillas were thick and more like street taco sized then fajita. I only ate 1 1/2 small fajitas and then sent it away. Last, but not least, I ended up in the bathroom all morning long.

Lunch there yesterday was terrible. I tried to eat some, so did wife. told the waitress, she apologized. paid the bill and left. food was way below average, hot plate, like warm food. coffee now 3.00 had some chemicals for cream, no 1/2 and 1/2. worst deal in town. Enchilada all dough and very little ground hamburger and tasteless. there are two many good ones in town to put up with this. the place seems to be continually going down hill.

Nice staff although the quality and quantity arent worth the price of any of the items on the menu. We even ordered the Party-Ritas, which are advertised to have 5+ different kinds of liquors in them and be for 2 to 4 people each, hardly had any alcohol content and was mostly sugary mixers. 1 person didnt even have a slight tipsy feeling from having it alone. Again, the staff was nice, the products arent.

Ive been eating at Chevys for over 20 years. Even through the various changes the food has remained good. Only one location left close to us. With the exception of a couple of frozen items the menu is fresh. Preparation varies. Sometimes the cheese enchiladas will be cold in the middle and other times theyre spot on. When I want authentic I go to a local but when I want comfort food I come here.

I recomend the steak plate the one thats on a skillet with bell peppers it is good. Not only that but the chips and salsa are too die for. I dont remember the waiters name but the one who was waiting on us kept rushing us. There was a Guy waiter kinda chubby he was kool that dude hooked it up I liked the service he was giving me and my husband on our belated honeymoon dining

Grateful that I found this Chevys. The 2 that I knew have both closed, Winchester Mystery House and Westgate Mall. I tried a chillis again and what a disappointment. The service at this location was phenomenal. The servers were happy they were friendly extremely helpful and quick with everything. I love this location and will be back many times in the future.

The salsa is the best I ever had and even the house margarita is great, I sat at the bar and Benjamin made great margaritas, yes, its a little pricey but I would rather pay more for good food and good service than less money for worse, I asked if they would make me something not on the menu and it was no problem, I will definitely be going back

Fresh tortillas! My Chile relleno was huge! I was here for lunch the other day and had arroz con pollo. It was not traditional, but still very good. Our server, Maria, was fantastic. Super sweet and right on top of everything like drink refills and food delivery. The facility itself is a little outdated, but its worth it.
