I have a Korean obsession. Korean music, Korean dramas, Korean boys, Korean food...everything. Tonight Soju reinforces my love. My friend said they have watermelon soju that is served in the watermelon so I had to check it out even though its way out in the Sunset. Its a bit small and if you go during prime hours, you might have to wait a bit. Once I walked inside though, I knew Id love the place. Gangnam Style started playing as we walked in and the TVs played Kpop music videos the rest of the night. One of Big Bangs songs came up and then a gf and I started to gush about them. Best start of the night. Wanting to do one of those epic group shots I have seen on K-Town, we ordered a bunch of sake and beer and lined it up. Waitresses were so accommodating, knowing that it would make a huge mess but they didnt care and rushed over with towels ready after it all went down. Finally, the food and watermelon soju arrived. Presentation was amazing! They even give the leftover sake for us to pour in. The soju itself is like a slushie, nom. We also ordered the short rib fries, kimchi fried rice, and rice cake with extra ramen. The food wasnt bad, but not the best. You can get better elsewhere but itll definitely do for drunken munchies. And of course, as we left, Gangnam Style started playing again. Best send off.

I havent been to very many soju bars in my lifetime but this one was pretty awesome. In general, drinking is always about who you are with rather than what you are drinking. Going a nice chill place with fun/tasty/cool drinks always helps too. The drinks were good but what was the highlight is the presentation. Watermelon soju came out in a carved out watermelon, pineapple soju came out in a carved out pineapple.. and mango soju came out in....................a pot (yeah i know). Along with that presentation, it come out on dry ice which added to everything. The only downside is that its all the way out by the outter sunset. If I lived close by Id probably come all the time, but Im out in SOMA so I most probably wont come back for a while since drinking and driving dont mix.

Im still looking for an SF equivalent of Oaklands infamous Dan Sung Sa (Korean bar), and Tonight Soju bar is definitely not it. The food here seems greasy and skimpy, which is very odd for any Korean establishment. We had the fried chicken, cheese corn, rice cake with ramen, ramen noodle soup, and spicy pork. Nothing was tasty, all mediocre Korean cooking. We also ordered the special watermelon soju, which is off-menu and costs $28. The presentation inside of the mini watermelon over a fog of dry ice was cool, but the soju was lacking. Atmosphere is dark mood lighting with specs of lit up stars on the ceiling ("tonight"), but all else points to this place being a last-resort, im-do-hungry-and-drunk-already bar.

One of the best places in San Francisco to enjoy Soju, Korean food, and Kpop music. I love this place because it has new Kpop music videos playing on their flat screen tvs. The food come in big portions and the place has combos with soju. The place gets packed every weekend so be sure to arrive early. The workers are very attentive and friendly and came back to our table to check on our orders if we wanted more soju and to refill our waters. The service was great even though they had a packed restaurant. Also, get the watermelon soju. Its expensive but its a experience that one should try when coming to this bar.

My friend wanted to grab a drink after dinner but we didnt want to go to a bar so we chose Tonight Soju Bar. Ive always wanted to try this place after seeing all the pictures my friends post online. We ordered the Watermelon soju which was really served in a real whole Watermelon over dry ice. It looked really cool. We finished the watermelon soju with some food: kimchi fried rice and chicken wings. Everything was very yummy then I saw the table next to us had the Pineapple Soju, a real whole pineapple over dry ice. Next time Im going to try the pineapple one.

Go-to for Korean food and/or a night of Soju indulgence in San Francisco. Theyve got a great selection of flavored Soju, and theyre actually good too. My favorites include kiwi, strawberry, and yogurt. Quite often times Id mix them all too if Im feeling happy enough. They also have Instagram worthy cutouts of Watermelon and Pineapple to host the flavored Sojus in. The food is also on point as well. Typical favorites like Kim Chi Fried Rice, Korean Style Chicken Wings, the Corn thing, etc, all are very tasty.

The Watermelon and Pineapple soju are a must try - comes out in the pineapple or watermelon shell with dry ice oozing out of the bottom. Head over with a group and its a fun place to drink and hang out. The food is just OKAY but good for something to nibble on as you drink the night away. The wait for a table can get crazy and they will not take reservations for groups under 6.

The soju in the watermelon is hands down one of the coolest things on the menu on any place in the sunset! I was a little disappointed with the lack of flavor on the chicken wings, but the tonight ramen had a nice kick to it. Favorite (non-food) things about the place: awesome K-pop on the tv, the super friendly service, and the efficient "call" buttons at each table.

Watermelon soju was NOT good. Its cool with the dry ice and all, but it was watered down, but I think watermelon was not in season. Corn Cheese/Cheese corn was not good at all because it wasnt sweet and it was just burnt with melted cheese on top. Spicy rice cake with ramen was too spicy and sauce was a bit too dry. Its also very dark in there and hard to see things.

My favorite items to get here are the mixed seafood stew, seafood pancake, and chicken wings. Its really dark so if youre going in the day time, it takes a while for your eyes to adjust, but the environment is kind of pretty during the night. They play a wide variety of kpop videos the whole time on the TVs so if youre into that, youll be pretty entertained too.

Tonight has great Korean food, but the star of the show is the watermelon soju special. Ever since we tried it, weve gotten it every time we come. Weve tried a lot of menu items here, and theyre all tasty. Some of our favorites have been the soups/stews, the beef skewers, the pot stickers, and the rice cakes with ramen. Corn cheese is always a winner too!
