Once a upon a time this place was owned my a pair of sisters and the food was just off the hook! They were the sweetest people and always keep the food fresh and the portions big! Sadly now its a husband and wife team and its horrid. For 2 years Ive been trying it on and off and its been sub par every time. Honestly I dont know why I kept going back except its one of the few places that makes mousakka with rice instead of in a casserole. Today after 8 hours at school tired and hungry I beg my husband if we can grab some take out for me on the way home. I call in my ordered and get hung up on the first time. The second time my order is taken. my meal tonight was the deal breaker and I shall never go back. I always order mousakka. The rice was stale and slightly crunchy. There was almost no vegetables on it and I had to pick through it to find the meat. Also the egplant on the top was almost raw it was not grilled like it usually is, and there was no tomato sauce on it! The vegetables were not cooked all the way and were raw I also ordered the cucumber yogurt which on the menu comes with pita bread. They refused to give me 2 slices of pita for my yogurt. Lame!! Also I ordered a baklvah and it was stale. The flilo dough was soft and yucky. No flakey, sticky goodness here like it should be. I threw it in the trash. Also the tahini is so watered down and has no flavor!! Last time we got flafel and it was all breading and they burnt it!!! I mean are you serious? Also the kebba had such a thick breading around it, that it was ridiculous.

This place used to be fantastic. I worked at the Baskin Robbins right across the way when I was in high school and the owners then were so sweet. I go away to college for several years and was soooo excited to visit again. I visited with my finacee, the ownership has changed but we were just so excited for Mediterranean food, we didnt care. The first time we visited, the owner was a bit short with us but we assumed he might just be having a bad day, so we overlooked it. The food was nothing special. The falafel was decent but they dont heat up their pita, so it was dry and hard to chew. Since that visit, weve been back four times. The service is always awful. Tonight was so bad, we canceled our order after ordering the first two items due to the owner yelling at us and instead, drove 20 minutes to Burlingame for FRIENDLY service at Taste in Mediterranean. Tonight was the fourth and final visit.

I really like this spot. The food is delicious. There are a ton of vegetarian option, as is common in this cuisine. The portions are quite good, (Im a big eater), and the desserts are yummy. I have liked everything Ive gotten here. I recommend this spot to anyone whose looking for a quick bite. Ive eaten in a couple of times, but I much prefer to take out. The location isnt small exactly, but I dont get the sense that its a space that works best as a restaurant. The owners and staff, however, have done a very good job about making the restaurant feel comfortable and welcoming. I wouldnt hesitate to eat in, but given the option, Id take the food home. Highly recommended.

The food is really good: the meat tastes good and the hummus is great ! Lots of choices of dishes and drinks, home made lemonade and amazing tea. BUT the wife of the owner is the worst waiter on earth, very rude, she even threatened me and my friends that the next time wed split the meal with 2 credit cards shed charge each of us an extra $5. What is wrong with you ? The other waiters seem really kind and got their tip, overall our experience in this restaurant was spoiled by that woman. I still recommend that place but for takeaway only.

Great food that is definitely homemade. I always get the falafel and love it. The rest of my family get the lamb and say its the best lamb ever made (which coming from a family if cooks, is the highest compliment one can receive). As a person who usually hates lamb, I can tell you it is mouth wateringly delicious. The owner is sweet, funny, and all around amazing. My aunt is diabetic and forgot her pouch that had her insulin, the owner recognized us immediately and returned it.

The food is good but the owner and his wife are total a-holes. Every time I call to order something, I cringe and my feel my blood pressure rising because of the attitude I get over the telephone. They are not accommodating to putting included items on the side. It really makes me not want to order there and give them my hard earned money but my family enjoys the food so we continue to order there... 3-stars instead of 4 due to needing an attitude adjustment!

This place is one our few "staples" that we eat 1-2 timed per month. Fresh, hot, and healthy. Fast friendly service from a family-run atmosphere. Weve also brought takeout from here for parties and our friends and family always love it. We usually have the chicken shwerma plate but the dolma and falafel are also great. No alcohol but that keeps it healthy and the check low. :-)

Know what youre going to order when you get to the counter and do NOT make him mad. After ordering, move to the left side to sign your credit card. Its just how its done. The Dolmas here dont change my life, but the hummus is literally my favorite around. My coworkers all swear by the meat (and think it must be marinated in butter and bacon to get it to taste so good)

A neighborhood "not so secret"! Kofte kabobs, falafel are tough to beat. While an Arnold Palmer isnt exactly "Mediterranean", I swear, they do the BEST Arnold Palmer in my books :) Another regular rotation fave. Ample size for small groups, parking is available (private space and street).

Always a wonderful experience. Our favorite place to go out. You will definitely want to try all the plates. Once tried this will become your favorite place. We come from Concord just to enjoy the food and feeling welcomed like being home.

Place is great. Service is too good. The menu and selection si quite vast, and even upon delivering the food, they recommend what condiments go with each dish. Great place and always full of customers

The food is good but the owners have ZERO people skills. Suggest they keep the cook but turn the customer service over to a kinder person - someone who appreciates and warmly welcomes the customers.

Our favorite place to eat Mediterranean food. I love the Kofta Kebab plate. The Mousaka (eggplant w/ tomato sauce) plate was also delicous.
