Those stupid articles that compare In-N-Out to Five Guys or Shake Shack, dont know what theyre talking about. As a lifelong, Northern California resident, Ive traveled and tasted other fast food burgers. Theres none better. Before they came to NorCal, the first thing everyone did when they arrived in L.A. was go to In-N-Out. Expanding all over is a dream come true. And, every person I know who is from here but lives where are there are none...now, they get off the plane here and make the trip for their burger. Grilled onions on your burger. I ask for "light" so they go easy on them. No raw onion for me here. I doubt theres a nicer bunch of staff members than at every single In-N-Out.

I rate In-N-Out Burger 4 of 5 stars. Trump always said its location, location, location to make a success. This San Carlos I-N-O is perfectly located right off US101 at the cross roads of two major local streets. Its easy to get into and out of this site. Well designed to have one of the longest drive-thru paths of any near-by fast food place, again, it is easy to place your order and get your food. Im a fan of the Double Double combination. The I-N-O burger is very different than McD or BK or CJ; very nice for a change of pace. Yep, I am a fan and will return.

Convenient location next to the busy section of 101. Parking is a pain. The lot is always full, tight spaces and configured somewhat strangely. Watch out for cars coming out of the drive thru. I have seen more than once minor crashes and near misses. The food is consistent with other In-N-Outs, nothing different. Good burgers and staff here are generally smart high school or college kids.

Disappointing lunch today! We always look forward to stopping at in n out when we arrive in California. However today was not a good experience. Grilled onions on my daughters ketchup only burger, two burgers missing lettuce and tomato and overcooked fries. Ate here a few years ok with no problem, so hoping today was just an off day. The workers were friendly while they tried to help us.

I tried this place a second time as people I know say how great it is, but as fast food goes I find it pretty average. In particular, the fries were pretty tasteless, and this was a busy lunchtime, so they were fresh. I dont know why people think In-N-Out are much better than other burger chains - they seem about the same to me. Their milkshakes are really good though.

I really dont see what the big deal is about this food chain. The burgers are bland and the buns are super flat. The fries are skinny and un-salted even more bland than the burgers. Was a long wait time to only be disappointed. The price is cheap, but Ill stick with Five Guys. You get what you pay for here.

Its the consistency that makes this chain great. Simple burgers done right, fries that you either love or hate, great shakes. Staff amazingly is always helpful, friendly and almost always look vaguely happy to be at work. Add this to the number of In-n-outs in the chain that I thought were great.

I do not have an In-N-Out Burger where I live, and so when ever I visit a place that does it is a must stop visit while I am in town. The burgers are tasty and their fries are fresh cut daily. Ive never been disappointed with my order, the staff is always friendly, and the food is always tasty.

My personal go to for fast food burgers! My order is typically a double double, animal style with chopped chillies, and a side of regular fries. The best tip I can give is to eat there rather than take it to go. In-N-Out is best consumed within 5 minutes of getting your order!

Just classic In-N-Out goodness. I always do takeout at this location so I dont really look around much but it seems clean. Parking can be a little hard to maneuver, especially when the drive-through lane backs up into the parking lot. Nothing else to complain about though.

In-N-Out is probably my favorite chains in US after Chick-Fil-A. The burgers are fresh and tasty and super cheap. Definitely better than Shake Shack and Five Guys. This particular location is usually crowded, but the line moves super fast and employees are super efficient.

been a fan of in n out since I lived in Southern California... always a great fix for my hamburger cravings. im a regular to this spot but only 4 stars because Ive been getting pretty frustrated on my last few visits. not very good on getting the orders right.

Very good like the other typical in-in-outs. Theres a long line in the drive through all the time. It is a good bite when you come from flying a plane on a simulator or real one from the a Hiller Aviation museum or San Carlos Airport.

Every time I go to this location I always have issue with parking and drive-thru always have a long line up. At least there is parking on the other side of the road. Otherwise, those burgers rock, staff is very respectful and polite!

Five Guys is far superior although In and Out is cheaper. The animal sauce is good but the burgers are dinky. This place is always packed because of the undeserving hype surrounding it and the fries are limp and never crispy.

Usually a line. Expect to wait 15-20 minutes for your order. Secret menu - order a 4x4 protein style if youre really hungry. Also ask for root beer float.
