One of the best Iraqi kebabs Ive tasted in a while, this place is extremely small , has a part where its a grocery store and a part where its a simple restaurant, having around 3-4 plastic tables & chairs, we didnt sit down but ordered meat kebabs for takeaway, it took a while for it to be prepared because there was only 1 person preparing the food so we waited patiently in the car for it to be prepared but damn it,it was completely worth it, the Hot kebabs were placed in an Iraqi bread( Samon) and with added salad, onions and Sumac. My kids had never tried kebabs before but they definitely loved it. I will sure be back to try it again. Tip: kebabs are best eaten while still hot and warm,dont wait to eat it when you get back home because as soon as it gets a bit cold the fat tends to become solid and sticks at the top of your mouth which is not a good feeling ( trust me)

BEWARE. My mother bought dinner from here yesterday, the only decent part of the meal was the kebab, I couldnt eat handle anything else. Felt like I was going to get food poisoning. It was roughly 10$ per person too. Today my mother and I checked the expiration date of some dairy product she bought from here. If you look closely enough in the picture attached it says its sell by date was March 11 2016 This thing has been on their shelves for ever a year!! Cheese only lasts about 6-8 months refrigerated. Disgusting!

The food is good. Quantity is just ok. But, the service is not good. I am a not Arab. I was there with my family over the Christmas break, and the lady at the counter named Deena was very very rude. Plus, she intentionally forced me to pay by cash and pretended as it the credit card machine was not working. Then I just saw an Arab pay with a credit card just after me. I was shocked at this type of discrimination by Arab lady to a non-arab customer. Sad!

Inexpensive and delicious! The service is very friendly. $2.99 Falafel Pita Sandwich -and it is perhaps the best one in town! I also love the lamb kabob sandwich for $4.79. They also have other kabobs, shawarmas, etc. And if theres a person in your group who wants non-Middle Eastern food, he has simple chicken tenders & fries. Wife and I eat at Tandoori Halal Foods at least three times a week!

You are wasting your time. Just get there and ask for the only authentic Iraqi kabab in the whole west or the baghdadian maskuf fish. I couldnt believe the aroma of the Iraqi kabab first but when I tasted it, its all came back to me. Five stars for authenticity, the aroma and the taste as well as the affordable price. It does serve Halal meat.

I liked the complimentary soup it was really delicious. Was going to buy kebob , but didnt have time. We bought the Quzi and it was not as delicious as we expected. Was supposed to be lamb Quzi but cam out beef. The rice was not spicy enough and was not added enough salt in. Looking forward to trying their Shish kebab.

I came to Sacramento to visit a friend of mine and he recommended me to this restaurant and was super amazing the taste of the food was fresh and very clean, whom own the store very nice and they are very friendly with excellent service. I have only been here once so my review is based off only one visit, but it was great! The man who helped me was very helpful and the food was delicious! So was the soup that comes with the meal. Great portions and very well priced. Will definitely be coming back here for some more Halal food.

The food is typical iraqi food ❤️ but the service, well it is fast food like, but if you like arabic/iraqi food, it is the best one ive tried so far! I tried falafel "amazing" kabab beef and chicken, beef was better, and tried tekka beef, it was good as well!

food was just ok. not worth the price. waitress was REALLY RUDE when she refused to bring a refill on Coke because she assumed iam a drug addict/tremors. i really have Epilepsy & Essential Tremors. I will NEVER eat here again

Terrible burger, looked and tasted bad. Sloppily thrown together meat with a giant tomato and nothing else. Fries were undercooked and cold. Would not recommend.
