Great space and coffee but needs improving. 1. The pulled pork in the Cubano sandwich was completely dry. Shouldnt be served. 2. There was flies everywhere inside. A bug zapper is needed by the door leading to the patio. 3. Very weak Wi-Fi. I spent around $25 during my visit and I just wanted to get about 1 hour worth of work done. I feel its fair to expect a reliable connection. Im sorry coffee shop owners of America but there absolutely is a new paradigm and that is that wifi is no longer a bonus perk to customers, its an expectation and requirement. If the overhead costs are hurting you then its your job to find a way to make it work. If a place cant provide this Ill go somewhere that can. As much as I love the location and space here I wont be back until things improve. Theres too many other options available.

They have a really great variety of teas, coffees, sweets, sandwiches. The ingredients they use were all really great quality and creative (I enjoyed a bacon chicken apple mushroom sandwich which I could not bring myself to eat anything but slowly). I also enjoyed a great cup of charcoal filtered oolong tea which was so very tasty and served in a really neat cast iron pot. The friend who introduced me to Weatherstone has a ham and swiss croissant and a delicious and beautifully feathered cappuccino. The music being played was a variety of really great and odd covers, of which a Smiths cover was the first I heard. Yay! Ive just returned home from my little cafe outing and I already want to go back.

Fell in love with this place immediately. The coffee is delicious and their pastries are flavorful. Seriously amazing scones that are moist and full of whatever fruit they have. The service of the staff is awesome. They regularly get my drink started before I get to the register, they engage in conversation with the customers and just seem to love what they are doing. The atmosphere is great as well, ranging from a more professional working vibe to a gathering of groups or friends. They have plenty of seating indoors or outdoors in the side yard. Definitely check this place out for great coffee and food at a reasonable price.

Even when its windy outside... our (my coworkers and i) need for a good cup of coffee drives us to go to Old Soul for their non fat latte and the smile. We have watched the place transform into a much friendlier place. From when you use to put your money in a cup to now actually having someone ring you. =) I love this place. Thanks to my sister who introduced me to this place. The familiar faces that i see every morning has added bonus to a good cup of coffee. I love... love this place.

This is one of my go-to places when I want to get out of the house and read for a few hours. Good pour over coffees, and the sandwiches Ive had here are creative and tasty. Its a bit noisy (cmon, its a coffee shop) but theres a beautiful outside seating area full of trees and greenery. Service is best described as "courteous, with attitude." Con: Bike parking isnt line of sight from inside.

Great food selection, rotating local artists on the walls, free wifi, good coffee , good pasties and fantastic beer wine and cider on rotating taps. This is a great cafe vibe. Perfect to hang out in, have a "getting to know you" date or doing work on your computer. One of the most comfortable coffee shops in all of Sacramento. Atmosphere 5/5 Coffee 4/5 Food 4/5 Wine, beer and cider 5/5

This is a wonderful café/coffee shop with decent indoor seating and a lovely large patio. The outdoor space is shaded and feels quite separate from the street, with a nice gas fireplace in the middle. I tried the cold brew, which was delicious. I didnt try any food off the menu, but I certainly will in the future: all the plates I saw brought to other customers looked tasty!

This place offers a great hipster atmosphere with the emerging art collections on the walls, and festive decor. The place attracts the young and the wise. Overall fun place to mingle, get a quick high quality cup of coffee. If you like nice milky and sweet espresso drinks - I suggest to order their Caramel Latte (add extra organic caramel for more sweetness).

We have been going to Old Soul for many years. We have seen many management changes and changes at old soul itself. Love the patio.... quiet and somewhat hidden. We do not eat here most of the time but the summer time bbq is awesome. We now live in Grass Valley but when we visit Sacramento we always make it a point to have tea at Old Soul. Love this place.

I asked for water to go after spending $50 in food and drinks (which I tipped 15%) and was told no, we are way closed. The time was 11:03pm and they close at 11pm. Very disappointed and I hope I never come back (I will dissuade my friends from going here). I expected a shop like this to cater to customers. Guess not.

My favorite things to order here is the vanilla latte because I like sweet coffee. For $4, you get a giant cup and beautiful latte art. There is plenty of residential street parking that is limited to 2 hours before 6 PM and unlimited after 6 PM. There is also free Wi-Fi so its a great place to do work.

Beautiful location. Nice relaxing place to sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy the early Sacramento sun. They have a guitarist on the weekends who plays in the courtyard. I have to take a star off for the slow internet. Great place to read and listen to music, maybe not so much for web browsing.

This is the sister site of Old Soul in the Alley. It still has awesome lattes, but the main difference, other than the location, is that it has a more intimate atmosphere vs the more industrial brick & high ceiling feel. The patio area outside is much larger and is great during the spring/summer

The go to place for many grad students and locals in the area. Solid coffee, moderately priced eats with rotating specials, and even a few beers on tap. The outdoor space is shaded and features ample seating. Never had a bad experience and spend most evenings reviewing study material here.

This is the place! Hiked all around Mid-town Sac to find the best coffee spot and this is it. Great coffee, kitchen, beer, and a wonderful environment that makes you want to stay and work or hang out. Natural finishes, exposed masonry, outdoor patio area.. Im very impressed.

Excellent ambiance in a wonderful building. Standard cafe fare. My friend had a muffin that was far too healthy and not enough sugar, LOL! Read into that what you will. a lovely spot, but Im not likely to go out of my way to get there again.

I love coffee spots that serve hot breakfasts as well. There was no where to sit and the manager asked some folks at the bar to make room for me, which was nice. It was a busy place for sure, but no surprise there, everything was excellent.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is great for a quick bite or to satiate a small hunger. Rotating taps of local beers and a small wine selection. Im bummed they dont allow smoking in their backyard patio anymore, however.
