It is extremely frustrating that I am actually going to have to write a negative review on a small business that I absolutely wanted to support so much. Ive only ever personally visited once, took a look at their selection, then immediately walked out. Fast forward 10 months. My friend called me last night asking if I had a good recipe for Poke salad. I definitely did however I knew the most important part was fresh "Sashimi" grade fish. She called Fins on Sierra College and Douglas after doing a quick google search for Sashimi grade Tuna. They assured her that they carried such tuna and even offered her advice on how to prep it. As soon as she brought it over, I noticed there were not only just several scales still sticking to the meat(Totally forgiveable) but the pungent, fishy, aroma atop the rainbow spotted sickly looking flesh was anything but "Sashimi Grade" Tuna. Needless to say, after all of the prep work, and against my better judgement, people got sick. Moral of the story, Fins is a questionable option for cooked seafood but please do not trust eating their fish raw.

If there was a choice to give Zero stars then I would because this restaurant deserves a zero. It is the worst restaurant I have ever spent my money. When you walk in, you dont know where to sit, inexperienced service, paper napkins at cloth napkin prices, and horrible food. Who has time or money to spend on lousy food???!!! We ordered the special of the day, wild salmon. It came out as a prefabbed, fake char marked, tasteless piece of fish. Zero taste of salmon. This fake food was served with insultingly overseasoned, whipped, canned potatoes. Any amount of money charged would be considered overpriced but $23.95? Come on. The only thing $23.95 bought me was a stomach ache that night. Was it the food or the feeling you get when you know you were ripped off? Do Not Go!

I honestly couldnt rate this place highly, we went in around 6:30pm, place was completely dead, me and my wife went in and ordered an onion ring appetizer, chicken strip dinner, and a shrimp and chips, the onion rings came first, we only got 4 onion rings, for $5, which is completely ridiculous, and they didnt even taste good, the coleslaw was overly sweet and watered down, and the shrimp was very bland, the chicken strips were okay at best, the only good part about our meal that was decent was the fries, half of which were ruined by the watered down coleslaw dressing, the service was good but i was very disappointed in their food

I was shocked to learn that the manager did not know anything about the sustainability ratings of seafood served at the restaurant, such FishWise or Monterey Bays Seafood Watch. In fact, the manager was unaware of sustainability programs in general. Yikes! I had to look up the sustainability ratings on my phone before ordering. I will not come back.

I came here at 2:30pm, so the place was empty. My wife came here for New England clam chowder in bread bowl and it was Fantastic!! The size is was grate but the taste was amazing. So far the best clam chowder we tasted till now. The service was good as well. Chicken strips in appetizers were ok.

Good seafood. Relatively fresh depending on which day you swing in. They can cook the fish basically any way you want. Really wish they would make a lobster roll. Definitely craving Lukes Lobster from NYC. Overall a nice place to grab some lunch with friends while shopping.

They get zero stars, dirty plates, waitress (Kim) forgot our order, she forgot to put our order with the cook. She forgot our bread and utensils. Salmon and scallopes were bland. Dont waste your time or money. This place needs help from restraunt impossible.

Staff gets 5 stars. Tacos and sandwiches are great always. The fresh fish to take home is hit or miss, Thursday is the best...the do have Hawaiian fish you can not find at most places. Bring your M/C card this place is not cheap. 1 of 2 locations

Always very good seafood sandwiches. I love how they have different sandwiches for each fish. Also customer service is always good. The reason they get 4 stars is every time we go there they are always out of something I want to try.

They need to order supplies to match the season. It is Lent, people have to eat fish. 2 visits in 2 weeks and no swordfish! I ordered the snapper, it was gpod along with the appetizers and bread. Service was great from C Bakki.
