Broadway Masala is a one of my new favorite Indian Restaurants in the Bay Area. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon it on our way to eat at New Kapadokia and decided to dine here instead. For appetizers, we ordered the Puchka Chaat which was just ok. The stuffed Naan caught our eye and our waiter recommended the Naan with Bacon or mushrooms. We couldnt resist the bacon! Ive never seen this combo before but it was delicious. We were starving so we asked for this as an appetizer and planned to eat the rest with our meal. Unfortunately, we couldnt control our appetites and all the Naan disappeared before our entrees were served. For our entrees we shared the Scallop and Shrimp Moilee-- a great seafood dish with sweet coconut sauce--- and the Chooze Makhni (butter chicken), plus a basmati rice. This was way too much food for two people (no room for dessert!) and we brought the leftovers home. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance and atmosphere. I love their keg decorations, lighting, and different paintings. The waiters were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Ill definitely be returning!

Really wanted to like this place since Suraj closed and there is a lack of Indian food in the area. FIRST WARNING! EVERYTHING IS A LA CARTE so super PRICEY SECOND WARNING! The food sucked! Seriously. I asked for Tikki Masala and a woman told me it was the Butter Chicken. NOT! I also ordered shrimp wrapped in bacon because it sounded so good, it was so-so. Top it off with a little rice and some nan and Im out the door spending $46 ARE YOU KIDDING?! Butter Chicken = very thin sauce covering cubes of dry, hard, yucky chicken. Shrimp was also over-cooked and hard to swallow. Im sorry Broadway Masala, but I will NEVER return.

I just love this restaurant. Its perfect place to have a good dinner before watching a movie. Its probably not the most authentic Indian place but it is spot on delicious. They have a taco Indian fusion with lamb that tasted great. The Tikka Masala is always great there and the vindaloo too! The staff is highly professional and very friendly and attentive. The place isnt very big. I love the stuff that they offer when they get you the check , its a kind of mix between sprinkles and some herbs. Tastes great though.

First of all ***Dont expect the food to be in INDIAN STYLE*** Mango Lassi was so bitter, I dont know they have ever tasted it before Serving to customer. Chicken kabab was half cooked.. Subz Lababdar had only broccoli and Cauliflower... I hope they thought I ordered Gobi masala.. Apart from Mint chutney I didnt like anything... Never thinking of going here again....

The service by Joe was impeccable! Samosas, masalas (okra and chickpea dishes) and drinks were amazing. One glass on a table nearby had a spec so all glasses were removed from tables to be polished. The owner is very involved and I could not rave more about how great the experience was. If I lived here, I would definitely frequent this establishment.

Good service but bad food. Nothing close to Indian. None of dishes had any spice or salt. May be this Indian restaurant mainly targets Americans and not Indians. Had samosa, pav bhaji, paneer Tikka, tangdi kebab, choley .Everything was too bland. No taste or not even salt.rotis were too hard.

Loved the food at Broadway masala! Theres a reason why this restaurant has won so many awards! the malai kebabs were soo freakin good! I scraped off the gravy on the place after the kebabs were done. The butter chicken and naans were pretty good too. Would highly recommend this place!

Ive never had, what I would consider, Indian fusion. Progressively light and healthy versions of the traditional fair with impeccable attention to detail in its service. Couple this with my favorite Lagunitas on draft and a chocolate molten cake for desert. What a delight.

I would like to give 4* (food tasty) but I was disappointed that when I asked for spicy it came mild, and also its overpriced for Redwood City: they appear to be aiming at a Menlo Park / Palo Alto market. I will come again, but less often than I had hoped (need to save $$)

This is my favorite Indian restaurant on the peninsula or even in Silicon Valley. The chicken tikka masala here was excellent. The rest of the food was very very good as well. The atmosphere is very nice, and the service was great. I highly recommend this place.

This is a really good local restaurant. We get take out for the family 1-2 times a month and are always happy. Dont forget to order rice, you have to do that separately. My only real complaint is that the menu is a little limited. More saag dishes please!

Good food, not traditional Indian but with a contemporary spin so as to please most people. Food was creative and surprisingly good but lacking spice and sauces were too sweet. Service was excellent and drinks good, but meal for two was too expensive.

I have never been waited with so much attention in a restaurant before: they made you feel like a king. The food was also very good, some of it had a very interesting spin. Yes, the place was pricey, but I felt it was worth it.

Nice vegetarian food. I specifically liked a dish called "Paneer Kaju Makhana". Its is not some thing you generally find in other Indian restaurants. This place is generally crowded , so book your table in advance.

OK Indian food. The place is very new, so despite everyone being super friendly there are some non major hiccups in service here and there. A little on the pricy side and the place could use some additional decor.

Old school chicken curry was amazing. Its a must try with some rice and naan. The service was great and the manager or owner ( not sure ) has a great personality. Such a great local spot.

Delicious food and great ambience. We went on a Friday night and the entire area was lit up so it looked even more beautiful. Definitely try the Bombay bruschetta
