Very good South Indian food! Hard to find South Indian restaurants in Berkeley these days. We enjoy the Masala Dosas and Coconut Chutney. We are Indian Food "snobs" and have eaten at restaurants considered the "best of the best;" hence, the four stars instead of five; however, we eat at this restaurant every few weeks and really enjoy it!

Namaste is one of my favorite restaurants in the SF bay area!!! I just love their buffet! Delicious!!! So many wonderful dishes, naan...chai...!! Very good service and I love the atmosphere here...especially the Classical Indian music and sculptures..and the building.. Thank you so much!!

They are robbers. In January 21st My family and I went to eat in the night, the total was $45.78 I signed the receipt and paid with my credit card, but today reviewing my account I looked that they took 5 dollars more, that was an abuse!! please dont go thats place.

It was the worst indian food Ive ever had , the Dahl was watery the Bindi oily and too many tomatoes the nan was old the owner when I complained had absolutely no interest she looked as bland and tired as her food dont try this place

Food is so delicious. I requested them on my personal request for spicy recipes. Staff is so attentive unless too crowd at a time. Being regular customer, I can understand the situation. Overall Its nice place for all food lovers.

The food here is excellent and the staff are very kind. I arranged for catering a large food order, and they really came through. They provided an extra dish and pakoras, no charge. Everybody was very pleased with the food.

We had the lunch buffet and my girlfriend had to leave early to throw it up after they charged us dinner prices (double). This place is hands down the worst restaurant in Berkeley and should not get any customers.

I really like this place. It is cosy but large, the food is good, the buffet is all you can eat, and the building is a beautiful old bank with carved beams. Really good value. Good for big groups.
