The bar welcomes the presence of police in the bar. Female bartender is seeing one of the cops and he comes in to the bar in uniform to hang out with her. If you like drinking around cops that are on duty you might like this bar. Maybe you can get a free ride with the lights on. It was a instant buzz kill for us. We didnt feel safe leaving. Had to call for a ride and went to eat food and come back. Ruined our night. If you go here make sure you only have 1 drink and dont wear anything that might make you suspect for anything. Dont go there in a suspicious vehicle and dont violate any laws or have anything illegal on your car that might get you pulled over on the way out. The good side is the drinks are good and cheap. Bad side is you might go to jail. Think about that while your drinking there.

Service not the best. Has an ok, newer electronic jukebox but even after paying you often have to wait a long time to hear your songs. Its an effort to make more money because you can pay more to make it the next song. Great. Theres a ping pong table, which is weathered but fun. Pool tables are ok and not very expensive (75c I believe).

Had the self proclaimed best bartender in the place. Cut to her ignoring my group for the first ten minutes we were there. Ran out of clean mugs, blatantly ignored at least six customers, and wouldnt shut up long enough to even let me place an order. Try bartender rescue next time.

Frequented the pit in late 70s and early 80s when Gary owned the place. Always good people and good times. Can not believe it is still open. I escaped Calif. in 1984 and have been back since, but can find my way around anymore.

Great local dive bar. Strong pour and awesome bartenders. Come in when Renee is working and youll be glad you did. Fun locals, a juke box, pool tables, darts, golf, and bowling ensure you wont get bored.
