The trick is to come early during happy hours and order a drink with bar bites. Then order from regular dinner menu. Savings during HHs can be significant depending on what you get. I got in about fifteen past five wanting something light to tie me over. My waitress Angelica gave in on her own personal recommendations. I told her Im dining solo and didnt want a full dinner. Made my selection base on HH menu. Got charcuterie & cheese plate $12- and a cocktail made with fresh ginger $8. Everything that you need to make a mini snack toast is there from hard to soft cheese and thinly sliced salumi. Last, but not least the homemade mostarda is fabulous. I spread them evenly on crostini along with soft cheese. Absolutely a bargain for twelve bucks comparable to others nearby with a asking price of seventeen dollars or more. Cocktail was perfect for warm weather treatment. Lime juice, scotch and ginger made a world of a difference.

Visiting San Fran from Austin. Foodie paradise here. Shopping around Union Square. Came across Hogwash. Service was super friendly, met Ryan and Walker. Gave us beer / wine suggestions. Then the FOOD. Love this concept, hand made, fresh sausage sandwiches. I had the lamb w/ pickled cabbage & beer relish... my wife had the chicken habanero with fried avocado (wow) and Harissa aioli. Super complex, layered flavor profiles. Extensive beer list (I had a Belgium quad, my wife had a french rose).

Im hopeful for this lovely space in an area that needs more fresh food options. But five of us had lunch there together and three of us disliked our food. The smoked fish frittata was really just a sardine omelette. None of us could finish it. The waitress failed to ask how it was. So not a good experience, but hoping theyll get better.

Wanted to place a to-go order; was told I couldnt do it over the phone, only in person. Not ideal when the pizzas take a bit to be ready. Also, I was told I couldnt request the smoked tomato sauce as it would "compromise the chefs vision." I respect this, but probably too fussy for the neighborhood. Pizza was excellent, though.

Management (Scott) is rude and amateur-ish at best. Seems to be on a power trip, staunchly refused to seat a party we made a reservation for although the space was clearly there and and it would work. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere, trust me.

Been here several times with various service quality. The most recent time, two people helped us, one was extremely helpful and nice, the other was rather off putting. The food is delicious and the decor is great.

Ive had two wonderful meals at Parlour. The staff is friendly and professional and the food was excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Testa appetizer the pasta dish we had and the dry aged ribeye for 2.

The decor is great, the food is pretty good, but the service always seems like theyre packed even though its a small place. Order anything from the oven, like the flat breads or pizza.

Nice service and ambiance. The pizza was a little bland but great crust. Everything was good quality. Check out the fairly new mural across the street!

High ceilings which is always nice for avoiding excessive noise. Dining room is very spacious so its good for groups and wheelchair access.
