I have been a long time patron of Pancake Palace. The food used to be great. I went in on 4/11/2016 for lunch and was dissapointed at the lack of quality of the food. I ordered a Rueben Corned beef sandwich and the meat was 80-90% fat and gristle. The supposed Thousand Island dressing was gross and resembled ranch with relish and Ketchup in it. The Sour Kraut was not even made right. I see this as an attempt to cheapen the food to cut corners. What angered me even more was the owner was yelling at his staff in front of customers and left a waitress nearly in tears. This is unacceptable and inexcusable. I will never go there again.

This is one of those dives where the waitresses call you names like "hun" she called me "bub" and that is a first for me maybe she meant buba LOL - (what is she a cartoon character?). I had a question about my order and she blew right past that and said "potatoes, toast or pancakes" and she was gone - never did get to ask the question. They are a breakfast place, but cannot make an omelet right. Vegetables were not very fresh and the pancakes were only average. I give it 1 star although I could find the hair in my food it was still that bad. My stomach feels bad four hours later.

The food looked good till i started eating it and found to hairs. I told my sister we should leave there were alot of flies swarming in the back of the restaurant. My first mistake was i should have looked at the cook he looked like he was on drugs nd had no teeth no hair net no gloves. The people in the kitchen looked like the people under the stairs bad food bad service bad place.. I will never eat there again my stomach was hurting by the time i left i felt sick all day. And i spent 19$ there

Great staff, always welcoming and accommodating, but the food lacks flavor. Ive been here 5 or 6 times and have never eaten anything there that I would order again. Ordered BBQ chicken breast last time I was there and got a plain no seasoned breast with maybe half a teaspoon of BBQ sauce on it. Ive ordered meatloaf and got a loaf of something that was 99% pepper and 1% meat. Ive tried breakfast as well as lunch and dinner items and everything tastes similar to hospital food..

Always very friendly- any day- any time!!! When we had a power out a few years ago my husband and I went for some hot coffee. The owner came out and served coffee to we "locals" free of charge and even offered to send us home with extra large cups. Also he stated that we could come back for more until our power came back on. The food is "home style" delicious and very generous. So nice to be able to have a diner so close and personable.

The service was good but the food not so much. It was not bad food but just not really good. I asked if the blueberries are cooked in the pancakes and the server said yes but when I got them they were just on top. I might have thought that there was a miscommunication but we also talked about how it was not possible to do the same with the waffles because of the type of waffle makers they have.

This is our second time here and the food keeps getting better. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. If you dont mind the "rustic" but clean feel, more than one waitress asking if you need anything, and big portions of very tasty food (pancakes alone are worth coming here), then Pancake Palace is the place for you! We will be frequenting this establishment on a regular basis.

Every single time our FAMILY go to Pancake Palace it is a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is AMAZING! We have been coming here for years and the experience and service continues to show what the staff and owner think about their customers. It feels like walking into a family members home for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Thanks for the amazing experience

Great service!! Excellent breakfast specials and a bargain senior menu. Regulars socialize with each other and the staff which creates a small town sense of family. Its a delightfully homey place where the staff quickly learns your preferences and your name. Also great iced tea. The owner goes the extra mile here.

Usually, prompt service and decent food. There is a meeting room in back, so you may want to call first,especially if your in a hurry. The breakfast foods and lunches are full portions. If you go, tell the owner Mo John sent ya, not that other fella. You will be sure to get the best service.

This place is awesome huge portions at very reasonable prices! If you leave here hungry its your fault! Anything you order is going to be delicious! My ONLY gripe with this place is they dont serve eggs benidict after 1 pm. But the staff and owner are friendly and I will be returning!

I work next door to this place is so I go often my favorite breakfast meal is the all need omelette it is called the all meet on light but it also has vegetables and it is amazing coming with some sour cream cash browns and you can choose from toast or two pancakes it is a huge meal

Great food, comes out fast and is consistently delicious. The prices are very affordable and the staff is friendly and attentive. My coffee and my boyfriends soda are never empty. Weve been coming here for a few years and bring our out of town guests here, its that good.
