Scouted out this coffee house before venturing to the Monterey area over labor day weekend. It was a little hard to find, but eventually, this cute little shop popped up. The coffee bar area is really teeny, and there is hardly any seating inside, just a couple of tall tables, there are a couple of seats outside on their front patio with cool tree stumps for tables. It is really quite interesting and definitely creative. Best Chai Tea Latte Ive had in quite some time, when ordering it, the barista gave me mild or spicy options. Me being me, of course, chose the spicy option. Chai Tea needs to be spicy not sweet, at least that is a personal preference. This one was just that, and it was perfect. This coffee shop also has handmade, DIY, artisanal items for sale. Shopping wasnt on the agenda, so details of the products arent available. But there were a lot of different varieties of products. Walking to this coffee shop was pleasant, it was nice to discover other shops/eateries. Didnt get to stop and peruse but hope to one day return to the Monterey area. Will definitely return to this coffee house for their perfectly spiced chai tea latte!

Truly wonderful coffee is found at this lovely establishment. Tucked inside the hip artisan craft goods store Lilify, the folks at Bright Coffee consistently provide me with the best coffee anywhere on the Monterey Peninsula. From the cold brewed iced coffee to perfectly made lattés with home made vanilla syrup, whatever your caffeinated fancy you will find it here. And dont forget to try the vegan, gluten-free baked goods! Im a dedicated meat eater who loves him some gluten but even i love the delicious treats like Cocoa Coconut Oatmeal bars and ginger cookies with real crystallized ginger in them.

When it comes to artful coffee houses, this place has it all. Its chill vibe and slower pace are combined with friendly and skilled service plus a beautiful, interesting, and calming interior. This leads to an atmosphere where you will feel relaxed and ready to just savor your coffee, tea, and pastries; which you will find easy to do because they are top notch. Everything was so good that I have now lost all interest in any other coffee shop in Monterey.

The coffee is really good but the barista is so rude that Ive stopped coming. The first time I came I was 9 months pregnant and asked for a single instead of a double because I couldnt have that much caffeine and she gave me so much attitude. Unfortunately it wasnt a one time thing. She has been inexplicably mean every single time. As much as I like the coffee its just not worth dealing with her so I decided to take my money elsewhere.

Stumbled upon this nice little shop while on vacation and discovered the BEST coffee I have had in my 40 years of indulgence in this bitter black liquid. Their "Americano" is sublime. So silky smooth, its as if your drinking liquid caramels. I had one each day I was there and every employee presented the same cup of liquid gold. I have been forever spoiled.

I enjoyed my latte as did my sister. The general décor and the handmade ceramic mug that my drink was served in were adorable. I liked browsing in the adjoining little shop while waiting and picked up a pair of earrings while I was in. A nice bit of calm and serenity right on Lighthouse.

Awesome little coffee shop with somewhat of a unique take on coffee. Quite flavorful, almost bitter, the Cappuccinos were served professionally, and in cool mis-matched cups. We also picked up some of their vanilla maple syrup. Friendly staff, ultra clean shop. Well be back.

This place was fun. Tiny tiny little cafe. They didnt have any coffee right in drip, you had to get pour over which can be good and bad. If youre like me who enjoys the freshest possible coffee, youll appreciate it. If youre in a rush this place may not be for you.
