Walked, and got seated. Straight faced older gentlemen asked if wanted to drink something, heard us, and walked away. I felt as if he hated us for coming in, and making him work. We got our drinks and 2 minutes later another younger waiter came and asked if we were ready, straight faced just like the previous one. Never smiled, or asked anything (not that I needed a conversation) but at least some expression would have been great other than ( I hate working here and being here). I ordered banana Nutella crepes (about 10$). Not long after, he brought our food, again barely said anything. I was excited to try crepes as I love them especially with nutella. My god, how can you mess it up with something simple as crepes. Especially a place that is supposed to be experts in these dishes. Crepes were undercooked,i felt as if I was eating plain flour mixed with some salt and water. Way too salty (as if they made them for breakfast with bacon) and then there was barely any nutella. They were topped a bit, and then empty inside. So what I did is scooped some nutella from the 2 crepes and added it to the other 2. The best part of my dish=banana slices. I guess they mastered in slicing bananas. I used to love IHOP. I barely ever write reviews. Had to express my disappointment. Will definitely not be back. What a joke of a place.

This rating is strictly for the front desk staff. I arrived with my mom and two year old son around 8:45am. It was crowded with maybe 5 vacant tables but no one waiting. I requested a high chair and was informed that a section of the restaurant would not allow for one due to fire hazard restriction. I was offered a seat in the back but decided to wait. The wait was about 15minutes for an appropriate space to place a high chair. After dinning I spotted a family in the restaurant with a high chair in the same section that was quoted to me to be a fire hazard. This is unacceptable. Please do not treat other customers with different policies. Its already difficult dinning with a toddler. I will take my business elsewhere and have breakfast at SPRIES ON LAKEWOOD.

Just got out of the restaurant...... 20 min for someone to take our drink order. Another 35 min for our food to come out, well some of the order. Then I got the rest of my order after everyone else was done eating. Asked 3 different people for napkins, and finally the 4th person brought some. To top it off, there was a "curly" hair on one of my kids pancakes. Been here quite a few times and every time there is some issue with the place. Definitely will not be returning here again. And it sucks because I live around the corner. Gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the food isnt bad. They just cant seem to get it together there.

Miranda Foley is incorrect. The IHOP website clearly states that the restaurant is open 6 AM to 11 PM daily. She also did not eat there, but still managed to give the restaurant one star. Also, she finds the stores hours, which are clearly printed on the door, to be "garbage" and "an outrage." Personally, I save my outrage for unjustified wars and the murder of children. Apparently, Miranda saves it for her lack of access to pancakes at 11:45 on a Saturday night. Oh poor sad Miranda. You seem to be as pleasant as the invasive catheter after which you were named.

Yey for ihop Ive always enjoyed a good breakfast and always enjoyed IHOP, in comparison to other family restaurants like dennys, village, in, dees, what have you. IHOP is pretty good. This location was busy but wasnt bad, it was a little cold inside. And its in a good environment around a shopping area. My only complaint Iz for this area of California, and I dont think they know how to make quality scrambled eggs. They always seem to not cook the eggs long enough.

I really love this restaurant. I only come for breakfast and have to say that it is always delicious and always exactly how we order it. The best thing about our whole experience at ihop is the staff... All the regulars are wonderful, sweet, professional and efficient! I go with my husband and Mom and we all feel the same!!!

Good food, but poor service. The waiter never warned me that my drink want limitless when I ordered it, when I go to other IHOPs and it was limitless. Also, would of been awesome if the waiter done English, rather then a poor, and could barely understanding us, English.

Great service by our waitress, Barbara! She was friendly and patient as we asked her about different selections. The food was promptly at our table and everything was clean as well. Ill definitely be going back there again!

I would have given a 5 star if it wasnt for the very long wait to be seated plus, the usher lied to us saying it would be 20 minutes wait when in reality it took them 45 minutes. Frustrated!!

Food is great but the utensils at my table were really dirty and disgusting like they hadnt been washed even though they were wrapped in the napkin. I had to ask them to get me new ones.

This a definitely the best IHOP in Long Beach. Good and quick service. Nothing to complain except the long waiting lines on weekend. But a good restaurant is highly frequented.

Besttt place to have pan cakes! I recommend Blue berry syrup pan cake and original maple syrup . Hash browns are too amazing. Dont miss waffles too .
