The only Starbucks I have ever given stars to or bothered to write a review. Went here yesterday for the first time because a friend of mine was meeting with some work associates in Duarte (were from Vegas), and I brought my dog. Got my order and went outside to read. Even though my dog had water and a water bowl, staff came outside offering water for the dog twice (since I was there I assume between the morning and afternoon shift). They also provided "puppy frap", which is just whipped cream for the dog at no charge. While I was there, someone bought a cheese and fruit plate, and tripped as soon as they walked out the door. The guy was able to go back inside and get it replaced for free and without fuss. In my experience at all the Starbucks Ive been to, everywhere from Seattle through to Colorado, this one was by far the most pleasant, polite, and service oriented. Whatever the management and staff is doing, I was impressed with how it worked in regards to customer service.

Its 50-50 here. Sometimes an awesome experience and sometimes not. Frequently out of items like cinnamon, stirrer sticks, stoppers etc. It gets annoying. Yesterday they forgot to make my drink. I had waited in a long line over 15 minutes and all the people behind me were getting their drinks. Mine was simple, a plain coffee frappuccino with no whip. I asked what happened to my drink and was given this exact reply by (I am leaving out his name) the guy, "we are only human." in a very rude tone. I replied this is not the first time this has happened to me here and again he arrogantly stated, "we are only human." I finally got my drink which seriously wasnt that great either. Any other location...never have an issue.

My hangout spot since its within walking distance of my home. Compared to the other building (besides the new drive thru and outlets) the seating is horrible. I hate the high seats and tables. The only thing good about the long table you share with a bunch of strangers are the outlets underneath. They had one 4 seating table they had to get rid of because it occupied to much space. Ive been going for a long time and I know the sevice is good but the workers look frustrated since theyve got this huge work station and not enough of them. All of their attention is on the drive thru. They should have made a bigger Starbucks instead of adding another building to the lot thats been sitting unoccupied for six months.

Is it possible to be this happy? I was starving and tired. Walking into this Starbucks I was greeted with a big hello and welcome from Starbucks himself. It is easy to see Starbucks and his staff enjoy taking care of people. Making delicious food is the vehicle in which they have chosen to do that. The food is ridiculously fresh and the portions are huge! Unless you have a big appetite, you could easily share a sandwich. If youre looking for quick, delicious food, a warm smile and genuine people......go here!

Friendly service, quick and accurate. My complaint and low scoring is in regards to not having the cold brew coffee available an hour after they open. I understand that it takes 20 hours to brew but it is unacceptable to tell your customer "try again next time, its hit and miss." I would have understood having an off night but to tell your customer not to expect it to be ready when you come next time is poor management.

I probably like it because its my home location pretty much but its just another starbucks. A couple of months ago or I think there was a girl Katie and not just to say she had a cool name lol but she was always super friendly and outright nice! But its a nice place it does get crowded at times. Funny as it sounds I think Duarte needs a second starbucks!!

I call this Starbucks the "Try your luck" coffee spot. Sometimes I get the latte that I ordered, other times they give me a cafe au lait (misto) and call it a latte. The barristas ate in need of retraining in order to maintain consistency. Also, something is off about the logistics of the drive through. It is NOT efficient at all, mor is it convenient.

Be forewarned, this location closes at 10 pm ,BUT the patio closes at About 8:30pm. They bring the chairs and tell you go inside, but inside is always FREEZING. Yikes! Also, their patio is a smokers haven despite the no smoking city ordinance. Screw the law, and health warnings I guess. Puff puffs, chokechoke me every time I go there.

Larger than it looks. Great study place. Only handicap and one other table that is next to an outlet plug. Plenty of seats: 6 two seater tables, 3 two seaters by the window, 7 bar stool seating by window, one co-ed restroom. Very nice staff. Small shared parking lot with more in the plaza grocery side.

This Starbucks location is pretty nice. Its a decent size with a long window table with 8 stools and 11 tables. Ive never had a problem with finding a seat here. The employees here are really courteous and theyve never gotten my drink wrong. Too bad this location doesnt have a drive thru.

This starbucks is being rebuilt soon. Will be int he same shopping plaza but on a different corner near the Jamba Juice. Friendly staff and great wifi speeds. Has lots of inside seating but limited outdoor seating. I hope the new location will be even better.

Love the new place. However I think they messed up by not putting the drive-thru speaker/menu under the extension you drive through. now if it rains, you will get wet trying to place your order. Seems like a wasted opportunity.

It takes forever to get my order The parking is bad its too small the sitting area outside it is too small too crowded too many tables in a small area I would love to know who designed this place what he was thinking?

Just left this place and I am never coming back the lady at the drive-thru acted like her quaaludes kicked in and couldnt be bothered to make anything more than blended ice and milk drink with whip cream

Consistently a long wait here. Just had the worst Frappuccino with large ice chunks. Half the cup is filled with crushed ice with no flavor. The cashier was nice so two stars.
