This beach is not for most people. If you like an overcast sky, few people, low temperatures, and rocks. This is for you. Most of the time there wont be many people, but if you choose to go at the beginning or middle of summertime there will be an abundance of people. Still it is less than most beaches. The village is nice and quiet, and the gift shop has a nice selection of snacks and clothing items. What did surprise me was the necessities they had like; canned food, laundry detergent, and first aid supplies. If youre feeling down they have a nice selection of not only beer, but liquor as well. If you want to surf they have wet suit and board rentals there.

Food was okay at best. No two meals arrived at the same time. When we received the bill for a party of 8 and asked for separate billing the woman in charge was extremely rude and expressed her irritation repeatedly. She really should consider retiring or finding a less stressful job. It was so poorly ran that more than one group walked out after sitting way too long for simple service. It would have been more acceptable but they werent even busy!!. Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Its worth driving a little bit to another town!

Its a really beautiful place but there store is really small understocked and I really wish there was a little gift shop or something so I could bring something home <3 the cabins are beautiful and I really love the ocean view but id suggest makeing sure u have all ur food needs b4 u leave home or u will regret not grabing the sugar

A quaint little cafe in a historical building, adjacent to Dillon Beach Store, overlooking the ocean. Limited entrees on their menu, but decent quality. My wife very much enjoyed the chicken pasta with lemon infused white wine sauce and capers. I had the Classic Fish and Chips which was delicious. Limited wine and beer selection.

This was by far the best Clam Chowder Bread Bowl I have ever had. I have eaten at many restaurants in San Francisco, Oakland, Georgia and other coastal areas but the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl served at Dillon Beach Cafe beats them all including Boudins. I had to ask for another bowl full it was so good!

Got there at 5:15am for claims digging on July 23, 2017. They turned me away because the area only allow 100 cars in. Peoples travel 1 to 2 hours to Dillon Beach. They needs to find a way to accommodate peoples. I seen almost 100 cars got turned away. This is a waste of time and inconvenience. SUCK

Ultimate omlete was very good and the potatoes were crunchy just right, high stack of pancakes were very good as my son said lotsa pancakes, the only down side were drinks were very expensive $5 hot coco, employees were very nice.

Definitely a great stop after checking out the light house at Point Reyes. The beer was great and the food to die for. This restaurant is the ideal mom and pop shop that keeps you coming back for more!!
