Ok, Lamppost might not be the BEST and cheapest pizza in Davis, but it is our GO TO family pizza place for a few reasons. 1, room. it is big, and open. the kids can have a table, and the adults a table. there is room for the kids to run around a bit, which is huge. 2. variety. they have pizza, pasta and grille stuff, as well as salads. they do family deals which include salad and pizza and everything is usually pretty good! 3. value. it isnt dominos, you arent getting a pizza for $6.... but you can feed a family cheaper than sushi, or burgers and brew or something, and it is even cheaper if you get their text deals, or get in on their combo specials. 4. booze.. they have beer and wine and it isnt a rip. Mike Bryner, the manager, always greets guests with a smile, and all the staff is helpful if you need something. a great spot for a family dinner, soccer or group party, or meeting friends!

This restaurant is truly a cut above the rest. The pizzas are fantastic and I especially love the heirloom tomatoes that are added seasonally. My favorite meal there with my family is 12 piece wings with ranch, two dinner salads with everything including grated cheese, and a small pizza for my kids to share. They also have tasty beers. I love that we can go in as a family and relax and have a delicious dinner together.

Soccer nuts heaven many big screens to watch the Mexico vs. Brazil friendly last night (Brazil won 2-1 in the final minutes), LP staff responsive to work out compromises so everyone can see their desired contest. Hockey, soccer, UCD study groups, several baseball games and football all going at same time. Sweet!! Davis kids and families love the pizza too.

My favorite pizza place in Davis, probably because you dont get the downtown crowd here. A good place to watch sports with a crowd because they have 4 TVs lining their wall. The employees here are friendly. More importantly why I love this place, the pizza is amazing. My go-to when Im having my pizza fix!!

Their prices seem a little high, but I managed to turn a small $21 pizza into 3 meals. Small is 12 inches, which is really just normal-sized pizza. I had the Pesto Supreme, which I really enjoyed. It reheated nicely in the oven. I will return to try other pizzas.

Really solid pizza. Much better than most in Davis (looking at you Woodstocks). Easy parking, usually ready quickly, and can order online. No one I have brought here has been disappointed.
