I have celiac. I would never, ever want to see someone with celiac eat at a Pieology restaurant. Ever. No matter what their website says about having gluten friendly food. I spoke with the manager of Pieology in Los Angeles County (ie, City of Industry). Not only was he rude, but he was completely clueless about gluten-conscious restaurant practices. After asking whether any measures are taken against cross-contamination (answer: No. No there arent.), his response was, and I quote, "There isnt that much gluten." He insisted that having gluten free crusts makes a gluten free pizza. I know, however, how sick I can get from having gluten free foods baked and prepared side by side on the same surfaces as non-gluten free foods, with the same utensils. I ended up calling corporate. Their response was the typical "we cant guarantee no contamination." Well, I can guarantee that the pizzas at Pieology are 100% NON-gluten free because of their practices. Practices which, I might add, Pieology corporate is completely aware of as being endemic in their chain of restaurants. If eating gluten free is a fad diet for you or you have a mild reaction, sure, give it a shot. For anyone with a real problem? STAY THE HECK AWAY!

Ive heard of Pieology, and think of it as a Chipotle for pizza. I like the concept, and a low priced personal pizza. They have traditional pizzas you can order, or you can customize it yourself. I customized and made a spicy chicken pizza with a few different vegetables. The process was fairly quick, and to my surprise the pizza came out fast as well. Pizza and a drink came out to a little more than $10. It couldve been my choice of sauces, cheeses, or toppings, but the pizza didnt taste very good. The ingredients didnt look as fresh as they should, and the pizza struggled to stay in one piece. It was good, but not amazing. I would give this place another shot if its convenient. Otherwise Ill stick to traditional pizza places.

Well, this is gonna be a rare thing, but ok, Ill rate this franchise. If this is only in California, then its better spokes-restaurant for the West Coast. InN Out -- seriously -- sucks. But Ill save my review them when I/if I go there again. Its pretty easy to find, because itll be the only store name written in English. As expected, its pretty much all of Asian up in this joint. The pizza is as crisp as a drug dealers fake money. Seems fresh, I mean, this is California. Dont mind the fact that there are oil wells next to nurseries. Id go here again.

Yesssss finally tried this place. Yaaay Mine Red sauce and herb butter Mozzarella and parmesan cheese Meatball Chicken Bacon Mushroom Artichoke Basil Jalapenos Garlic His Half herb butter half red sauce All cheeses Chicken Sausage Bacon Mushroom Garlic Black olives Onions You can pretty much create your combinations with anything and everything that they offer. I wished they had avocados and a few other toppings. And oh - I docked a star because they were mopping and almost spilled the contents of their bucket on myself and my companion.

Sauces, Toppings, and Pie! Oh my! If you dislike the food at Pieology, you really have no one to blame but yourself. $7.50 gets you a customized, thin-crust pizza with all the toppings that your taste buds desire. Dont get greedy, though. Best to stick to a few toppings that work well with one another, and ask them to pile them up. Dont forget the garlic!* Avoid during rush hours! Lines can go out the door. Though I enjoy reading the quotes on the walls, Id much rather be eating. *garlic makes the world go round

If you love endless options and the ability to control every aspect of your pie, Pieology is an excellent option. Personally, Im good with some kind of supreme pizza, loaded with cheese, meat, and veg, atop a chewy crust. The healthy take on a pizza with a traditional thin crust just isnt my style. If its yours, then enjoy Pieology, but personally, Ill go elsewhere.

OK, pizza would rank higher but every time I get a pizza here it tends to get wet when it cools down. Pie starts of crispy, but about 2/3 the way thru the pie, the crust gets soaking wet. Not sure why. Update:. Its the cheese. They use a mozzarella with high water content. If you ask for extra cheese, the pizza gets soggy when it cools.

Build your own pizza at Pieology for 7.95! Sauce: Herb Butter, Pesto, 3-Cheese Alfredo Cheese: Mozarella, Ricotta, Parmesian Meats: Pepperoni, Bacon, Sausage Toppings: Artichoke, Green Peppers, Black Olives, Basil, Spinach, Mushrooms, Garlic Verdict: 4/5. Definitely add the garlic and herb butter. Brings out the flavor that much more!

I think pieology is inferior to blaze pizza, as the number of toppings, the sauce selection, price, and drinks (blaze has a blood orange lemonade) all favor blaze. But, the closest blaze is in brea so pieology will have to do. I like piling on the chicken and ham on mine...theyll keep piling on if you ask

Pizza Ohh Pizza. What to write except you decide what all you want on your pizza and best how many and how much meat. If u r a meat lover this is the place for meaty pizzas. Add 1$ for that thick crust and you wont regret it. And yes the feta cheese instead of mozeralla will do wonders to ur pizza.

My usual pizza place is the Costco food court since you cant beat their deal, but when I want something different, I come here. Their pizzas are delicious and I like the thin crust. You definitely wont be hungry after. I usually get it was lots of veggies and all the meats to make it worth my money.

1 star Certain employees need to learn how to distribute pizza sauce evenly. Even with pizza being fresh out the oven, it seemed as if it was warmed up in a microwave. Worse pizza I have had so far. Apparently cutting the pizza into 4 halfs is challenging for them.

Come here if you want to choose everything you want on your pizza! They will let you choose what goes on top, and then will cook it for you in their pizza oven! All the ingredients are top notch. Just make sure you like thin crust pizza.

Pieology remains my favorite fast-food pizzeria. You cant go wrong with any of the toppings and everything tastes fresh. The line moves quickly and the cinnamon dessert pizza is an interesting twist.
