WARNING: The workers at this location are like a pack. Very sneaky have hidden attitudes. If you dont order the way they want they have a big problem and immediately call on each other and start speaking Spanish and gang up. The cashier will call over to the cooks and seem all upset and ready to confront you. They told me the creamed garlic which clearly has whipped soybean oil in it just pure garlic but that is not true. The workers hide the food prep by standing really close to the counter while they do sneaky things with your food. I caught one pulling meat out of my wrap. Also I think one tried to spit on the food when his back was turned. but I was watching closely and another warned him stopped him. Then he put the meat back in. They watch you and stare back if you try to watch them they dont like it. Something is seriously wrong with the workers there. Not to be trusted. Of you order out menu and do not customize anything and dont watch them and just ignore maybe they are OK but if you are picky and ask to many questions you will be the target of their revenge. I thought to ask for a refund. But I so hungry I are it. The wrap was poorly rolled and fell apart. Later I had a sore throat and felt sick! I will never ever eat there again! Even though the food is a good recipe and such the workers ruin the experience. Other locations might be better. It depends on the quality of people the I think. Just be forewarned about Burbank location.

Love, Love, Love this place. Did I mention that I Love this place? I get the chicken tarna wrap, add lettuce, red onions, and get the falafel special with tahini on the side. The wrap is always SO delicious. Its really something to write home about. The garlic sauce on the wrap is incredible. They are almost always really fast at making the order. I Love the new gender neutral bathrooms! Now, I can stop sneaking into the womens restroom; (Womens restrooms are always cleaner because they havent been ransacked by Burbank barbarians). I just wanted to say Burbank barbarians. The male restroom was always clean here, too (but not in the rest of the world, where I will still have to sneak in and out of the womens restroom, for a hygienic experience); But, enough about me. Youve GOT to try the legendary Zankou Chicken, while youre still on planet Earth

We came a bit late (9pm), but they say theyre open til 11. Unfortunately the service was very slow and the chicken was dried out. They had also forgotten to give us one of the wraps we ordered so we had to go back up to the counter to ask for it. The rest of the food was okay, nothing to write home about. Another issue was the lack of ice in the soda fountain. Both dispensers were completely out. My wife had to go and inform an employee about it before someone finally came and refilled then. The layout of the restaurant is also a bit strange and not well suited for larger parties. Zankou is ok overall, but was not impressed with this location. It looks nicer than other branches Ive been to, but the service and quality was certainly lacking.

The past few times that I have gone to the Burbank location the service has been terrible and the Tarna sandwich keeps shrinking! FYI - I will NEVER go back to Zankou after my experience today....There were 2 cashiers but only 1 helping people and the other could have cared less. I waited for the other cashier to help people but she didnt...I waited for approx 5-7 minutes and never even got my order of 1 Tarna sandwich in - I just left and went home and had a bowl of cereal. I have to say, this location really stinks! Get a clue Zankou....you lost my business for sure. PS, this is the 3rd or 4th time that I have had this experience at the Burbank location.

Excellent... Excellent customer service from the moment I walked in to when I thanked them and left. The place is SUPER clean. The food is great quality and taste. I am very picky with the quality of chicken I eat and what it looks like when I bite into it. This place is great! Im not sure about the other locations since have only been here. The pricing was very fair. Sometimes it takes 15 min because they made it fresh for me so dont be in a hurry. Take your family and you will be happy :)

My friends and I love zankou chicken , base on our experience today, the cashier shes too mean.. she refused to give us the garlic sauce, and the family meal we order did not come with hummus..but when we ask for it, she told us is included,..so we went back to the counter ask for the hummus! She said is not included! We ask for extra garlic she said no! I dont think I want to experience that again like begging for food...they even laugh and talk to their language.

Zankou Chicken is awesome! I just enjoyed a fabulous lunch with a friend. The chicken salad is so fresh and delicious. The lamb sandwich was awesome the meat is super tender. Definitely get the fries with the dipping sauces. Also the potatoes in rotisserie juices were super tasty. Totally stuffed, but still had to try the frozen Greek yogurt. Best Ive had - very thick and creamy, loved the one topped with baklava and honey. Delish! Highly recommend Zankou Chicken!!!

Pretty tasty chicken pita wrap! The only reason I couldnt give it 5 stars was because they left my pita wrap on the top while serving all those that ordered plates to-go ahead of me.... my pita wrap had a lot of garlic sauce that made it tasty but the outer parts of my pita were very hard, almost inedible so I just peeled it off. I ordered take out and it also came with some yummy purple pickled radishes.

Zankou is a well know middle eastern chicken place. If you have not ate here then you are missing out. Both their chicken Tarna and Beef Shawarma are excellent. I recommended the combo, which is not on the menu, but they do it for you. The location in Burbank is one of their best looking locations, with trendy design. It is also quick. You can be out of there in 5 minutes if it is a to go order.

My wife goes more often, a favorite office lunch takeout spot. I have been twice. The chicken and steak has got to be the "devils work"? It is that good.... Just good !!! If you do not know what something is, just ask. This is not New York ;) The staff are very help full at explaining things. You just can not go wrong ordering anything chicken related.

Chicken is so tender and juicy, really recommend this place if your in the area. Plus I suggest you get an extra serving of their garlic sauce because it takes the flavor of the chicken to the next level. The garlic sauce is not overpowering, but adds a subtle garlic/ lemon flavor to the food. Great place to eat.

Weekdays the food here is almost edible, but disgusting on weekends. I dont get it. You will need tons of the sauces or the chicken smells/tastes rotten. Not going here anymore. Unbelievable that they would actually let people eat food in that condition.
