Hey, can you do me a solid? Can you take me to Solid Coffee Roasters for some caffeine love? Occupying the former location of a dingy dive bar, Solid Coffee Roasters is the first café in the local area who roasts their own beans. After attending a Sunday morning meditation, having a cold brew sounded good on an almost 100 degree day. Free refills are offered for house brewed coffee & cold brew. Unfortunately, nitro cold brew is not included. Cold brew- Yup, that hits the spot, alright! The cold brew was strong, slightly acidic & chocked full of caffeine buzz. Normally, I go for nitro cold brew, as I enjoy the effervescence from "coffee beer", but seeing how non-nitro cold brew has free refills, I went for quantity. I was told the coffee used for cold brew comes from single origin Brazilian coffee beans. I took advantage, maybe too much, and had 2 refills in about 10 minutes. Needless to say, I was buzzing the whole day, afterwards. Looking for a bite to eat, to go along with your drink? Solid has you covered! Various sandwiches, hand pies, scones & avocado toast are amongst the items available to choose from. I was tempted to purchase the coddle me solid, which seemed to me a deconstructed eggs benedict in a jar. Service was good. The staff were friendly & quick with drinks. A good amount of seating, with a long booth against the left wall w/ chairs. 3 communal tables by the entrance & by the register line. Be forewarned - customers tend to camp out at Solid Coffee Roasters, plugging in their laptops and concentrating on work or pretending to work. So, finding seating can be difficult, depending upon when you go. Parking is in a private lot at the NS Plaza. Solid Coffee Roasters is located adjacent to DJ Bibingkahan Filipino Restaurant. Time for a coffee break! Solid Coffee Roasters is a solid addition for locals in Artesia & the surrounding area. The coffees on point & you can definitely taste the difference between coffee roasted miles away & coffee roasted minutes ago. For my next visit, Im going straight for the coddle me solid and, perhaps, the red latte. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM

The coffee here is simply superb. Generally, I am not into nitro cold brew because the "fruitiness" that is touted translates to sour coffee to me. However at Solid, the nitro cold brew has a smooth, strong coffee finish. The micro bubbles really change the mouth feel of the drink going down. Definitely, now my second favorite drink next to a quad espresso over ice. Their flavored drinks are good as well (though in general flavored coffee is not my cup of tea). The mocha was not too sweet and with a strong chocolate taste. As other reviewers have noted, this place is popular with the college crowd so seats are limited. The unlimited brew and cold brew refills is most certainly a key factor.

OK coffee place to get work done. Electrical outlets along the wide bench are very loose and your power plugs can easily fall out. The back of the bench along that wall is also very sensitive and can be annoying if people keep bumping into it while your back is on it. Coffee itself is decent.

Im from Seattle, so Im spoiled for choice with great roasters like vivace and victrola etc. I was worried I wouldnt find anything in Orange county I could drink AND enjoy. Luckily this place showed up on Google. Damn good espresso, their doing their craft really well. Thanks Solid!

This is a "Solid" choice. Clean and modern it offers a spartan location. That gives a very nice cup of joe with well played music in the background. Good coffee and very friendly staff will help this place stand out and grow. Come before it gets crazy popular.

Very cool local coffee shop. I was impressed by how comprehensive their menu is; they offer everything from basic lattes to nitro cold brews. They also roast their own coffee beans in house daily. Definitely one of the coolest coffee shops in the neighborhood!

Its nice to have a great coffee roaster in the area. The staff here is awesome and very friendly. They have only been open just over a month and are doing great! Please come by and try them out! We need places like Solid to remain in business a long time.

Comfortable cafe, good for studying, clean and cozy. I LOVED their Red Tea Latte w/1 shot and my boyfriend really liked their vanilla bean latte. Staff is courteous and parking plentiful. I will return again

Excellent single-origin pour overs! They roast their own beans on-site. Theres super fast Wi-Fi here! Seating is ample but usually taken by people studying or doing work.
