Great location, spacious outdoor semi-covered patio seating area, absolutely delicious food (especially the breakfast country potatoes) and very nice servers. The 1-star deduction is because the manager (owner?) was trying to urge me to leave (2 hrs before they closed) becsuse I was seated in the back room and she wanted to close it down just so they could hang artwork on the wall on the opposite side of where I was seated. Really? Decor is more important than customer service and revenue?

Generic off the restaurant supply truck food. Had the roast beef sandwich and it tasted like cheap bad brine prepackaged grocery store roast beef. The ajus was bland. Only thing ok tasting was the fries and they just came out of a prepackaged bag and into the fryer. My daughter had the chicken tenders and they were the same as the fries, out of the frozen bag and into the fryer. This place is no better than a truck stop greasy spoon dinner.

Horrible Service I dont even know who our waitress was because three people came by our table, not to take our order. It took 30 minutes to take our order, we sat outside and it was freezing, they have heat lamps that they didnt bother turn on, took another 30-40 minutes to get our food, my food was mediocre and cold, I had to take our check to the hostess, who looked at me like I was nuts. Dont waste your money or time here.

I ordered a breakfast combo ,and they asked me if I wanted potatoes or toast bread, or pancakes, and the normal combo will be potates, toast bread or pancakes. Its the first time this happens I had went to other restaurants like Ihop , Jeffery s, Santa Cruz dinner etc and they never ask me if I want toast bread , pancakes or hash browns. I mean this is ridiculous.I sincerely think I wouldnt recommend going to Red Apple .

Really cute place. Large portions - I couldnt even finish my breakfast even with my husbands help. Theyre really vegetarian and vegan friendly, too; they offer to replace eggs with tofu in the scrambles and omletes. Sitting outside is pretty idyllic. Service was fair. The Hollandaise sauce seemed a little off, but everything else was lovely.

I havent been to the Red Apple in 3 years, but the new owners have made a terrific improvement. Great menu, great service, excellent food (and more than I could possibly finish). The coffee could be a little stronger, but that was the only thing I would change. Excellent!

This is the best breakfast is S.C. Their egg benedict is to die for. I have sampled almost everything on the menu and have never had a bad breakfast. Get here early because it gets crowded quick. For something different try the bear claw french toast.

Great food. Great service. Beware it does smell a little like mold when you walk in. I think the carpet is pretty old. The food is worth it. During the warmer months I go and eat out side and during the cold months I take it to go.

Ive been here twice and have enjoyed breakfast sitting outside on both occasions. The food is good and the staff very friendly and attentive. I had an omelette the first time and pecan waffles the second. I would have both again.

My family LOVES the Red Apple! Ive been going to this restaurant since I was in college (a long long time ago) and its still consistently excellent....amazing!! Its a wonderful restaurant and I hope they never change!!
