To start off I enjoy eating at Olive Garden with exception of this location. I do a lot of traveling and the one thing that Olive Garden is known for is great food and even better service. Someone neglected to inform this location of the standards Olive Garden is known for. I sent corporate an email on the 19th right after the experience. its been a week and still no response. When walking into the restaurant I noticed that there was a dirty towel sitting where some wine glasses were stored. I should of taken that as a warning and left, but unfortunately I stayed. My guest and I sat down and there were dirty wine glasses on the table with dirty utinsels. We told the waitress and she removed the glasses and brought fresh utensils. We ordered a couple of appetizers. I ordered the Shrimp scampi frita and when it came out it looked like it was just thrown together and tasted bland with hardly any seasoning at all and was at best luke warm. I brought it to the waitress attention and she took to back to fix the dish. What she brought back was the same dish refried with a few new shrimp and a bit more seasoning. I couldnt eat it. My entree was delivered (Seafood alfredo) I took pics of everything so I hope I add them to this review. The shrimp and scallops were obviously not fresh and were minature in size. The pasta wasnt cooked all the way. I mentioned it to the waitress and she asked if I wanted them to make another one and based on what they did to my appetizer i said no and asked for the check. As I was leaving I asked the hostess what the manager name was so I could put that on my complaint. She said there were two managers on duty, both are front of house managers. With all the issues neither one came to even try to fix anything. I was looking around and couldnt figure out if a manager was even there. This is one of the worst ran restaurants I have ever went to. I eat out probably 4 to 5 nights a week. I was a great fan of Olive Garden and this experience put a very sour taste in my mouth. It will be awhile before I give them another chance. Based on the other reviews from this location this review shouldnt be a surprise. I ate at the restaurant on Nov. 19th at 630 pm.

The only reason I rate this so poorly ia because of a personal experience I and my husband had on three separate occasions. We used to love this restaurant and still recommend it because of how good the food is. That being said on three separate occasions we went in Olive Garden and no one came to our table. The second time we went there we actually waited an hour and a half and our waitress never showed up. We sat there for an hour without anyone even giving us a menu or glass of water. Finally another waiter came over to us and got us some water and a menu and said hed ask about where our waitress was. He later told us he had no idea where she was. We then went back a few months later thinking it was just a couple of bad trips in there, but that time would be better. Unfortunately we were wrong. We waited for 30 minutes and again without a menu or anything to drink so we left because at that point we were in a "screw that" kind of mentality. I hate it that this happened because I still like the food here a lot. But because of those three times that we were just ignored by the staff, I cant really say well ever be back here again. I actually think we had gotten the same waitress at least two of the three times so maybe thats why this happened? There are a lot of good waitresses/waiters here, we just happened to get the bad one several times in a row.

My soon to be wife and I made reservations a week in advance for a wedding rehearsal dinner, with family that had to drive over 12 hrs just to make it for the dinner. The reservation was at 7pm. When we arrived they didnt even have us in the computer and said they didnt know any thing about our reservation but we will get you seated in 20 - 40 min. 2hrs later they try and seat us and the family that drove over 12hrs they left. The manager the hole time would hide from us and we asked 3 times for a business card. Then to add some topping on the cake, the hostess was in the bathroom talking trash about us and my little daughter heard it. My soon to be wife and over half the party left after hearing that. The ones that stayed only received a small paper menu with 5 items to choose from. The Olive Garden totally ruined my bride and everyone else night. Totally terrible service would not ever recommend this place to anyone.

Im a very particular person, so when I give 5 stars, it was earned. First off, we were taken to a booth that was too dim for my taste, so i asked the waiter if there were any window tables available. He politely said no. I was a tad sour about it considering after, I was saw a gentleman sitting at the window. But I must say, I am SOOOO glad we didnt get the table. James was one of the sweetest and most attentive waiter my husband and I have encountered. It was our 10yr Wedding Anniversary and he recommended the chocolate mousse pie, it was superb. The food was delicious and my Green Apple Moscato too. Ask for James!! Ask for James!! Ask for James the next time you visit Olive Garden in Tuscaloosa. ROLL TIDE!! (Just for James) Im an Auburn fan. Warrrrr Eaglee!!!

Where do I start.. well first off it took us about 10 minutes to get drinks or any type of waitress/waiter service. Appetizers were good, Although she proceeds to take my fiancés soup and the rest of our breadsticks before we were even done without asking. Entrees were god awful though, Both of our meals were. Waitress came by and asked if I would like meatballs on my pasta for a little extra (didnt ask how many). So when our ticket comes and my fiancé is surprised to find out that each meatball (which the server took joy in picking how many) cost an extra $1.50 a piece. Bottom line is the Olive Garden on McFarland in Tuscaloosa has the worst service Ive ever experienced at Olive Garden.

Really like the atmosphere. My husbands steak was way overcooked but our server handled it exactly like she needed to...I dont remember her name but will try to find out and post. His steak came back closer to what he had ordered but still wasnt exactly like he prefers. I had the Alfredo wth steak medallions and it was excellent! I love the table tablet for my little girl to play...I do think it should be complimentary but 1.99$ isnt too expensive for her to have plenty of entertainment while waiting game for her meal. She was also given colors and stickers :) I encourage anyone visiting this location to request Courtney for their server!!!

Seated, put in appetizer order myself through table tablet, waitress came, put in drink and food orders, no water given. The soup, salad and bread sticks and cheese dip came but no drinks, and no spoon for soup. After asking repeatedly for drinks and spoon finally my drink comes but not my wifes, still no spoon so took one from appetizer Trey that came instead, by this time everything that came Already was cold because we had nothing to drink with it or In case of soup eat with it!!!
