Awesome food, friendly people. My first time visiting was yesterday, I couldnt wait to return today, and itll be difficult to avoid going back tomorrow! As I work nearby, Im adding this spot as a frequent stop in my lunch rotation. Havent tried everything on the menu yet, but the brats are killer, and so is Moms potato salad. Reading these other reviews; yeah, theyre cash only. I dont typically use cash if I can help it, but its this small business right in order to maintain a low overhead. Shame on the unprepared. Trying to hurt a family owned and operated business with a bad review because you cant be bothered to keep a 20 on-hand just shows your true colors. .

Chicago native, living in Clarksville for a few months. Definitely worth visiting! Went big and got an Italian Beef with sweet peppers and mozzarella along with a jumbo Chicago Dog with everything. The hot dog was solid, not quite spectacular, but Id never hesitate to get another. They know how to dress up the dog properly, but the actual dog itself did not seem to be either Red Hot or Vienna, and somewhat a step down from those two. Again though, still a solid dog all around. The Italian Beef though... VERY good!!! Far exceeded my expectations for that. They just nailed it with that sandwich. Will definitely return.

Looked forward to italian beef all summer. waiting til I was close to that part of town. Ordered and then realized they are cash only. Realized I didnt have any cash. Beeped to let them know. Woman came to window I apologized and explained, she TOLD me to go to an ATM. I told her I dont even own an ATM card. She yelled at me, "SO YOU ARE JUST GOING TO SCREW US OVER FOR AN $8.00 SANDWHICH??? " and slammed the window in my face. Wow wont happen in the future cuz I wont be back. Shame on you this is no way to treat a customer!

OMG! Chi-Town Dogs is AMAZING! When I first saw it I was skeptical but these people are friendly, have amazing prices, and the best hot dog I have ever eaten in my life. Dont let the building trick you, these people keep their costs down in order to make sure your food is cheap. If you want something great and fun and at a great price, Chi-Town Dogs is the place to go, or should I say Chi-Town Gods!

Stopped by after a friend suggested it. It is next to Big Lots and is run out of a smalI converted shed (I know what your thinking). The hot dogs are smaller than I expected, but the taste is definitely there. The buns are poppy seed and add to the overall flavor. As for suggestions I recommend the Sloppy Dog. Overall, it has good potential and is most assuredly worth a try.

Im from Chicagoland and Chi Town has authentic Chicago dogs. The owners are friendly and service is good. The old tin Jays Potato Chip canister on their counter is something only a Chicagoan could appreciate. Chi Town has the best dogs around... by far! The only thing I would change is having fries available.

Have you ever been to Chicago and miss the hotdogs you get there well chi-town is the only place out of Chicago that I have ever found that hits the nail on the head even right down to the celery salt. And plus the owners are amazing people to have a conversation with. Rock on!

Cash only!! Absolutely love this place. Great dogs and sausages. The sides are good too. Plus you always get a tootsie roll, it doesnt get much better than that. It is also a to-go only place. There are few picnic tables to sit at, but there is no service to them.

Ive been coming here since I was a little girl, I used to get a pickle on a stick after my softball games, now I bring my son to enjoy. I love the classic chi-town dog with the works. But I recommend the sloppy dog its the best!! Thank you for the great food!!

I wish I could give this less stars because they didnt tell me they existed until about 6 months before I moved out of state. Every single time I come back to Clarksville I come here. Top 5 favorite places to eat ever. Keep it up and dont change anything.

Legit Chicago style hot dogs here, definitely the best around. Only complaint is that they are a bit expensive, but I guess you can get away with it when no place else can compete. Also the beef is not so good, so stick with the dogs

The toppings are great and its definitely Chicago style and would complement the hot dog flavor perfectly. Unfortunately, the hot dogs have absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The service was nice, quick, and friendly.
