Ok, so Im biased! Lets face it, Im an Englishman living in Redmond wanting somewhere to call home of an evening. And this just happens to be an English pub! In itself that should be reason enough for me to frequent the place and drink of its ales. Well, it actually takes a lot more than a pub claiming to be English for me to go there on a regular basis, and I have been going to The Three Lions on a regular basis now. In fact for over a year, and it only opened in August 2006. There are three major things that make this pub worth going to: 1/ It captures a lot of the essence of what an English pub actually is. Its character, interior, clientèle, music, and overall ambiance are very English. 2/ The beer selection is very English (well as close as you can get to in the USA). There are four draft English beers available, Tetleys, Boddingtons, Newcastle and Bass. Then there is an English draft Cider, Strongbow. A couple of Irish offerings in the form of Guinness and Harp complete the British selection. Lastly a variety of European offerings include Stella and Bitburger. Plus, there are over 30 select bottled beers to choose from. 3/ The food selection is exceptionally good English fare with a mix of American influence in places on the menu. The fish and chips are honestly the best Ive come across outside of England, and the bangers and mash and shepherds pie are excellent choices too. The pub also fries up its own crisps (potato chips) and I would strongly recommend a bowl of those to eat while having a beer or two. Overall, this is as close as you will get to experiencing a typical English pub outside of England; with one large exception - You get service!! In England you have to order everything from the bar and pay as you go, but of course that wouldnt work here in the USA so theres full table service available. The pub also has two real dartboards, with real darts available for use behind the bar; a trivia quiz night on Tuesdays; and usually live music on Saturday nights. Also the pub is always showing the latest English and International football (soccer), rugby, MLS, Aussie Rules football, Mariners and Seahawks games Last but not least, the pub is home to a number of British ex-pats. The chances are youll meet at least one of them at the bar on most evenings and youll be able to engage in a lively discussion on a variety of topics! Its certainly the closest youre going to get to England without forking out for a plane ticket. Give it a try!!

I like everything about this pub. The food is great, they have a little gas fireplace with comfy chairs (in addition to tables, booths and the bar), and the service is so good. They recently had a turnover of wait staff, but before that, I would practically have my beer at the table before I sat down. They knew me and knew what I liked. Im sure it will eventually be that way again once the new people have settled in. The evening bartenders are superb. They do the best Black and Tans Ive had anywhere and have several other British beers on tap, as well as a large selection of bottled beer and spirits. The pub is situated next door to a British shop and restaurant -- all owned by the same person. The shop has a small selection of British food, including freshly made items like pasties. The restaurant serves the same things as the pub, but also has a larger menu.

During the day Service is Horrible, in evening when all the locals come in and they have all the nice staff members who are not temporary, it is Awesome. Today I saw family having to cash out because of shift change and then by 7pm before the usuals came in the Temporary staff spoke Foul in front of my family & friends because she did not the team we went for win. I felt like I wanted to cry & ashamed to have recommended this place to my family & friends who had never been there before. I will return because one person should not ruin my usual experience of enjoying great food & great atmosphere. Complaining did not get our Family of 8 very far but a sarcastic smile from one and a I am so sorry from the rest of the usual & friendly staff. Enjoy.

If you want some late night British food this is the place to go. They serve all the same delicious food that you can get at the restaurant on the other side of the market, but you can also get a great beer to go with. It looks like a cozy pub and it is pretty quiet which is nice. There is a fireplace with comfy chairs for people who just want a snack and beer or tables for people dining. They also of course have a bar area for if you wanna play pool or grab a beer and a dart board too. A nice quiet place to unwind and grab some late night dinner.

My experience was good with this pub, up until I went to the bathroom. I walked out of the bathroom and found my table cleared, my bear/food gone, and no bar tender to be found. I ordered, paid for a beer, then this sad excuse of a pub cleared my table, tossed my beer before I could even drink it, and expected me to leave the pub because they wanted to close since there were no other customers at 9:00 PM. What a sad excuse of a pub.

I have had three different meals at this restaurant and they have been amazingly delicious. The fish n chips, french dip, and The Bon fire Burger. You will not be displeased with the food or service! Hands down best fish n chips and tarter sauce! Shout out to the staff working on December 5th, at 4pm. We personally thanked all of them, for their amazing food and service! This will be out new spot!

Love this place. The servers and the customers are warm and welcoming. Imagine walking in the door and having people turn and smile at you as you walk by. That doesnt happen a lot here in Seattle. The waitstaff is kind, charming and happy to make suggestions. The food was nicely presented and a great value. The only thing I would change? Please put seat covers in the loo!

Worst service ever. Sat at a table for 20 min and watched the staff (one blonde waitress) walk by at least 5 times and never offered us a drink. Finally had to ask for service and was told I would have to wait cuz waitress couldnt remember an order from the next table ...... There were two people there. Are you kidding me? This is one customer that will never come back.

An excellent choice of authentic brews as well as some rather tasty British food. This is a really good slice of home for all those Ex-Pats or simply a place to indulge in some British cuisine. I am a big fan of their sausage rolls as well as their pome-frites and curry sauce! A nice laid back and friendly vibe and somewhere I like to hang out with friends or family.

My favorite place in Redmond to enjoy some Guinness and nosh on tasty pub grub. Its warm and cozy on cold, wet winter evenings. If you can score seats near the faux fireplace, alls the warmer and cozier. It seems to be more of an adult bar, so if youre seeking the Irish car bomb experience, youd be better off going elsewhere.
