This was absolutely the WORST Mexican food Ive ever had! I ordered the shrimp and spinach enchilada and it was flavorless. Tasted like I was eating corn tortillas drenched in water.. i had 2 shrimp in the whole enchilada. I was looking forward to the white queso dip but it was yellow and literally tasted like melted velveeta. Upon cooling off slightly it was thick and disgusting just like velveeta so Im probably spot on with that.. (my 7 year old daughter thought it was disgusting as well and shell eat anything) I actually lowered my expectations significantly since Ive had the privilege of eating really good Mexican so I woulda been content with mediocre Tex mex but this is just awful. The wTermelon mojito I ordered tasted like flat Sprite with not even a taste of liquor anywhere so Im sure that was omitted. I asked for lime for my water and never got it. Service left a lot to be desired but I didnt expect 5 star here anyway..

They have a lunch buffet. Apparently the buffet is not standard acroas the chain. I loved the buffett at Puerto Vallarta in downtown Fresno. The one in Poet Orchard is nowhere close. Its been really hard to find good Mexican food in Washington. So, the buffet was a miss for me. The next I went I ordered from the menu. I ordered a chimichanga. Now, thia is supposed to be a crispy dish. I dont know if it waa crisp when they started, but it was drowned in some, not great, sauce, so it was all soggy. I didnt order a wet burrito, I ordered a chimichanga. Also, maybe I read the menu wrong, but: it said it was served with beans, rice, and salad. When my plate came, it was half salad. Nothing wrong with the salad, but there were no veans and rice. They told me it was inside the chimichanga. I couldnt really tell. This was nothing like any chimchanga Ive ever had. Very disappointing.

This has been our fave Mexican restaurant for awhile. But today, I was pretty disappointed. The place was dead, the buffett was fair, service was okay. He took our card for payment and was gone forever. Finally I checked our account to see that they had charged us. We were right behind the register and I saw him about to swipe my card again. I stopped him and showed him where it had already came out and asked him not to swipe it again. I checked my account before we left and he had. Spoke with the manager and he said one charge would go away in 2-3 business days. Really?! So youre gonna put a hold on a total of $60 in our account for 2 buffets and 2 drinks??!! Even after I showed him it had come out. Ugh, we left there feeling punished for eating lunch??!!

Upon entering it is a nice establisment, its warm and inviting. The chips and salsa arent half bad and the margaritas are pretty good. I ordered the Chimichanga and was sadly disappointed. After reading so many reviews of this place id thought Id finally found somewhere with some better quality hispanic food. The size of the Chimi itself was disappointing and upon eating it, was not impressed with how bland it was overall. The beans were good however the rice was dry. Over all not too impressed. The guest im with says her tamale was good but the enchillada wasnt as impressive, especually for the cost of the meal itself. The staff is fantastic and this review is meant to reflect the food not them.

On a Friday night, the parking lot was packed, but we walked in to find no wait time. There was plenty of seating in this very busy restaurant. We were seated with menus, drink order taken and chips and salsa within the first two minutes. Our food was at our table in less than 15 minutes (did I mention the place was packed?). Our chips and drinks were refilled before empty and we were attended to as if we were the only guests in the restaurant. Excellent food was a bonus to the top notch service. We will definitely be back.

Nice atmosphere, generally good food, generous portions. The only downside so far, my mother ordered the New York Steak, medium rare. It came very rare, and had a lot of fat, gristle and other inedible bits on it, plus, her first steak knife was so dull it couldnt cut butter. Other than that, dads Carne asada salad was excellent, as was my vallarta burrito, and the drinks were quite good. In general, stick with the Mexican dishes, and you should not find anything to complain about.

My family and I eat there quite a few times a year. I love their enchiladas and burritos, my dad usually celebrates his birthday there as well. The waiters and waitresses are nice and we get our food pretty quickly most of the time. The chips, salsa and bean dip are the best. Went there last Saturday to celebrate me and my sisters birthdays and we loved every minute of it. According to my dad, the margaritas are a bit strong but really good.

I am not a big Mexican food eater but for some reason, I was craving it. My wife has wanted to try Puerto Vallarta for a while so we finally stopped in. I didnt know they had a buffet or we would have gotten there earlier. We ordered off the menu and were not disappointed. I had heard that this place was good and they sure lived up to the hype. They even made my burrito the way I requested. Great experience and we will certainly be back.

The service was good. I ordered 2 chili rellanos that I had to peel off a ton of breading to get to the chili but once that was gone the chili was good. My friend ordered steak fajitas which tasted good but she said she ended up with the runs all night! The booth seats are so far away from the tables that we both had back aches by the time we left. Oh well, all in all it wasnt a bad experience, just not the best for sure.

Fajita salad and chicken Vallarta burrito very good. Steak Vallarta had lots of gristle, what could be eaten was ok. I wont order it again, it was expensive, not worth it. Our server was mediocre. Weve eaten here many times over the last 15 years, this was our worst experience. We will continue to go to your restaurant, because of many good experiences in the past. Hopefully this one meal was just a one time thing.

Delicious Vegertarian meal! I would have never thought I would enjoy myself here because of the food limitation but Puerto Vallarta had an amazing meal in store for me. Only complaint....why the heck are the taps on the table in my line of sight blocking my friends face on the other end of the table? Bad design but we made jokes about it and moved on. Drinks were strong and well priced!

Burrito wasnt very good and camarones a la diablaq wasnt very spicy had way too many mushrooms and only 6 small shrimps not worth what we paid for. I have no clue why it has great reviews Im from Cali and Mexican and this definitely doesnt taste like authentic mexican food. I rather make my own food then waste my money here the only thing that was good was its staff.

Due to the hostess ignoring my party. Not even an acknowledgement that we were there and then acknowledging and sitting another party ahead of us. I am now eating at taco time. Where I was acknowledged and served. The worst part was that they werent even busy. The hostess just choose to ignore us. Then choose not to apologize. Never going there again
