Just finished eating there, Very poor service. Food quality on the limit of fast food. I dine this location around 3 times a year. This recent experience. The wait ,normal 15-20min. Brought appetizer and left in a hurry noticed we had no plates , flagged down a waiter , wasnt our waiter. Uhh all the plates are dirty and walked off, laughing. Didnt think it was funny at all, So we watched our appetizer become cold. Setting around missing something , biscuits . Actually have to ask now. I remember a better red lobster 10 years ago With real service. I ordered the same Ultimate feast as always.Asked to sub the fried shrimp with healthy salmon and pay the difference. According to the Hostess Manager said cant be done Have to buy separate ,Ok no biggie, Just lived with it. Finally food time. Lobster way under cooked, Red but had a slime meat kinda texture . Snow crab not warm to touch. luke warm inside but cooked. Rice under cooked. Garlic shrimp good. Salad was a dud. I remember 2 rings of onion 2 sliced cucumbers 3 kinds of greens and tomatoes With cheese. Salad tonight 2 kinds of greens, no onion ,sliced cucumbers in square chunks ,Tomatoes, no cheese. Fact of the matter Red Lobster is not the same place I grew up with the impression of and they are riding on its coat tail. Ive visited this location for 14 years This location has poor service because of the college and is to be expected. And for the final After getting dragged here for 7 years by my wife she promised after tonight we never have to go back. Thanks red lobster

Terrible experience. The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived but the staff couldnt find time to clean their dItty floors until we were nearly done with our meal. The waitress was very inattentive (my receipt indicates her name was Sharon but I think that may be incorrect). I alerted her that I had food allergies and when I asked questions about the food she was reluctant to ask about ingredients. It was very obvious she didnt listen because she served my food with a butter sauce, which I specifically asked to be left out. Additionally, we were not made aware until we began ordering that they were out of Atlantic salmon, which forced two in our party to reorder. She told is we could order sockeye salmon instead, which, of course, was nearly ten dollars more than the Atlantic salmon would have been. The food tasted subpar and two members if out party felt sick after eating. Thanks for the overpriced food poisoning.

I was disappointed with the service at the beginning; I sat for 10 minutes without any of the four servers glancing at me sitting at the table with a menu making a move to wait on me.... the place was not crowd and I am sure why no one did no waiting on me or what kind of system was used to assign waiter to table but the tables on the north, the south, the east, the west of my table had a different waiter..... mmmmm... Finally, a waiter came to see if I had been helped as I was truly about to leave... the food was good, service from that point was nice, and I had a quite dinner at end of a long day. I didnt get the initial part of dinner and long wait... hashtagboowaiters and smiliyfacePhillip... Well Red Lobster work on initial connection thing, well ya! Signing offf......

Customer service and management leave a lot to be desired. The food is spot on, if you get to eat it. I have tried going here half a dozen times over the past four years and have been disappointed every time. Either the wait is ridiculous, the place is dirty, or the service is horrible. The last time I went at 2:30 pm and thought I had lucked out by not having to wait and still got a dirty table with horrible service. The waitress told me she was working a double shift and wanted to go on break, so she took our plates while we were still eating. I literally had food in my mouth when she took my plate with food on it.

Went in to eat lunch yesterday and was disgusted! The biscuits were freaking good but rest of the meal went down hill. Ordered the lunch hand breaded shrimp and fries. There were only 7 fries on the plate. I was shocked. But the salad almost made me throw up. WHILE EATING THE SALAD I GOT ALMOST TO THE END AND THERE WAS A PLASTIC TOGO SAUCE LID IN THE SALAD! Told the waiter and he just said ill give you a free desert. Ugh thats it! Like no big deal.

We went in for lunch today and got seated, waitstaff is standing around, we waited 10-15min and decided to leave; on the way out I asked if they were short staffed because no one ever went to wait on us and they said "no, did yall change tables?" No we didnt change tables, the hostess sat us down. We ended up at Texas Roadhouse, service was excellent as well as the food; well worth the $55 we had planned to spend at your establishment.

Received a really great first impression. After that service fell below average. And my Husband and I ordered one of the large platters. One each. His was spoiled and mine was okay. Not very tasty though nor very fresh. Itd Be nice if restaurants fixed food according as it was advertised. The manager did fix my Husbands dinner over, and took care of his bill. But for 100s of dollars everytime we visit we deserve the royal treatment!

Always serving delicious seafood! I love the service here, Ive never had bad service. Their to go option is super convenient. The biscuits at this location seem to be tastier than other locations... yummm. Oh, and they have close handicap parking, but overall the parking lot is a little squishy. Great place to dine, nonetheless!

The rudest managers, bartenders, and waiters and waitresses of any restaurant I have ever been to in my life! Disgusting, nasty food. Also, watch out! They will screw up your order on purpose and they will spit in your food! AVOID RED LOBSTER OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This location is by far the poorest quality of food...Admirals feast..in my 40 years of patronizing Red Lobster. Looked as tho it was cooked in very old oil/grease. Very bland..poorly seasoned & stale tasting. Very pricey for the quality of food. My wish is that this location is an exception..

We havnt visited a RL in a long time, very trepidatious, went a few weeks ago, and what an amazing transformation, the atmosphere, service and good has been elevated so much since they were bought out I can only tell you to go! You will be impressed and have a great time!
