If i can give this Jin Korean BBQ restaurant a -10, i will not hesitate to do so. The worst food place Ive ever been to. And i didnt even settle down enough there to eat. First, i got there with a group of 8ppl. We were told lunch menu, which was much less in price, at 11.50am CST did not apply since its Sunday. Ok not a problem. Today is my birthday so Im feeling happy and generous. Then, secondly, the waitress said that IF theres leftover food, we will get charged $20 extra for it; this kinda baffled me a bit. So, Im like, well then, do you have "to-go plates" cos i dont like to waste food anyways? Then the waitress said NO they dont have to go plates. How can you charge people $20 for leftover and deprive them the opportunity to take their leftovers home if they want to? Thats a RIP OFF, a robbery in broad daylight, I believe. If i paid $19.99 per adult and $12.99 per child, youd think it should make economic sense to provide me the option for "to-go" plates in case i get full and wanna take my food home to finish so i dont upset you with a leftover and then get penalized for it. I will never go back to Jin Korean BBQ even if the food was for free. Nasty, Ungrateful, and Inconsiderate. And, by the way, this is coming from a guy who hardly worries about a lot of things that bother so many other people. I am in my mid-40s, and i av been to many countries including China and Japan, as well as 42 States in the US; i dont leave bad reviews, but I have to in this case. Hope this Jin Korean BBQ restaurant change their business model, it sucks right now.

Its so sad that Houston doesnt have any solid All you can eat korean BBQ options. We have some decent to order ones, but you end up paying 2x as much. I heard DFW area has a lot of options and lucky for us we were only a few minutes away from this location. We came a little bit after they had opened so there was no wait. This was the first time I had seen the buffet option, where you can grab your own meats, along with ordering from their menu. From the buffet you are able to get some of the most popular meats, such as bulbogi (spicy or non), along with sides and soups. Its nice because, you can get as much or little as you want. From the menu, I highly recommend the LA Gaibi. The other meats were good too, just nothing that blew me away. Overall, the service was on point, we had our grill replaced 3x during our meal. And price is also very good, 15/lunch and 20/weekends and dinner.

Me and my friends love coming here! Food is great, service is excellent, atmosphere is nice. Make sure you come hungry! But do not overfill your plates and leave a ton of leftover uncooked meat because just like pretty much any Korean BBQ place, they charge a fee if you waste food. Any review your see that is negative about this place, are from people who are clueless about the leftover food policy even though it is written clear as day in the menu and other places. One guy on here even said "why cant I have to go plates so I wont waste food?" seriously? What buffet offers you to take leftovers home? None. Otherwise you would abuse it by eating your fill, then making enough food for 10 to go plates. Get real. Jin Korean BBQ is one of the best ones Ive been to, its prices are better than others me and my friends have tried and tastes better.

Friday evening: the place is full and your are looking at about a wait time of 25 minutes. The experience was unique. If you like to grill your own meat this is the place to go. I do not recommend having plans right after. You will need to stop by your house and change to get away from the smell of smoke, oil, and cooked meat. You are at a table someone takes your drinks order and is up to you to stand up and select the meat you want to eat. There is soup, and other selections to go with your meat. When you go back to your table throw it on the mini grill which is conveniently located on the center of your table. Get to cooking and enjoy. For dinner you are looking for an all you can eat for 19.99 plus drinks and children from age 5 to 10 I think 12 something.

Immediately greeted by the hostess and seated in a cute 4-person table with the Korean BBQ grill in the center of the table. It was our first time and we were thrilled at the new experience! Its a buffet-style bar with about 8 meat choices (of which you cook yourself) and plenty of Korean side dishes to choose from. There is also a selection of specialty meats that you can ask for free of charge! The service was excellent and aided by a clever little light that you could flip on whenever you needed your drink refilled or your grill pan replaced (so cool

Walk in and the layout, lighting, and booths really make this place a little bit more special. Hostess welcomed us immediately and quickly sat us down. Server arrived quickly to welcome us and help us get started. I have to say, as my first time going to a Korean BBQ, this is definitely fantastic. I would gladly come back again and again to enjoy all the meat offerings and hot dishes. I do have to say that the dessert drink made my day. It was phenomenal. 5/5 all the way around!

Expensive, I came here with a large birthday group og kids and adults. 14 people total. I liked our seats, the food was good. And we ate a lot! No one had leftovers of meat. We did not really get that many sides from the buffet. I did it some kimchi, and it was okay, but not made at the restaurant. That stuff had to have come from a jar. The waiter came often to check on us. We went on a Monday night. Not busy, but there were a few people there. Lots of meats to choose from.

I came here with my friend for lunch. The price is reasonable, only $14.99 for lunch. The food was good as well. However, our server, Ryan never took care of our table. I had to fill up my empty glass of water for two times by myself. And our grill was burn but he didnt change it because he never came to see our table. It was really fun to watch how our server is doing. Except for the service from our server, Ryan, everything else was really good.

The meats were good. The side dishes are okay. The lighting is cool. Service was good. The grill was changed often. The thing that pisses me off the most was that last calls are done 40 minutes before the listed closing time. Then 10 minutes after that, the servers take away all the meats and side dishes from the buffet bar. There is no point coming here an hour before they "close" because you wont be done eating when they take away the food.

Good food but horrible service. Our waiter brought out our drinks never to return even once. We had to get up to get our drinks, find other waitresses to answer our questions about the menu and upon leaving (and having to find someone to give us our bill) the waiter shows up at the register and when asked why he didnt return to our table responded, "you have to understand I was busy." Irresponsible.
